Well, I'm not sure how deeply I should discuss the comic. I don't want to risk spoiling it for anyone who wants to read it.

I presume that all four issues will take place in the 24th century. The first issue begins eight years after the events of Nemesis and ends with the appearance of a familiar character who is not in the upcoming movie.

I think that the artwork is well done and while brief, the story was interesting enough for me to want to buy the next issue.

I forgot how frustrating comics can be.

Such a short time to develop a story

You just get into it and it ends on a cliffhanger

PRetty well done though

I agree that the artwork is nice and since it is set beyond the Nemisis timeline you get to see a 24th Century uniform that is different to what we've seen before

Quite cool

Don't buy it from Amazon. The sellers there want $12 for it plus shipping. The price is $4 at the newsstand. You might want to look into it soon, my local shop only had one copy left.

Speculation: The events of the new film may have repercussions that manifest in the TNG/DS9/VOY era. I don't know if that's the case, I didn't even know about these comics until this weekend. However, from what I see it may be possible.
