No , but then we have probably one of the best networks here so dropouts are something that used to happen back in the 90's

I don't have a home phone now, we just use cell phones. But my 16 year old daughter wants to be free to talk at any time and also there are short times after school where my other daughter is home by herself and I would like it if she had a phone to use in case she had to reach me. The free calls to Canada would be nice too, I could talk to wissa more often

Why don't you just use Skype?

Get wissa to do the same and all your daughters friends and its free to everyone then :thumbs:

All you need is a headset or have a computer with a mic installed in it

Most laptops have that now

I use Skype to chat to my brother who lives have the country away , it would cost us a fortune if not for Skype

I'm not sure if my daughters ancient computer would be compatible and my youngest is not allowed on the computer when no one is around. I just think I would like the convienence of having my own actual home phone and number and at 19.95 a year it's not bad at all

Computer shouldn't matter it's just uses the internet and you "dial" someone by their user id kind of like if you im someone
