You cant expect 110% from others, when most times, they don't expect even 90% from themselves. -- Me.

I have no idea what you are on about
Bret Favre, originally, Quarterback for Green Bay Packers, was fairly well-liked there, then he announced his retirement, then came out of retirement to a sweetheart deal offered by the Jets, effectively reducing Jets starting QB Chad Peddington to 2nd string, whereby, Chad got shlepped to the Miami Dolphins.....Brett didnt have a very good year with the Jets, and said that now he would probably hang it up, but now again, is apparently in talks with Minneosta.

Just thought I'd pop in to note that when I saw a Kai-created thread in the Sports and Competition section title "Please Bret, just stop already" I assumed it was about another Bret entirely.

However, to contribute to the conversation, I will toss in that I totally agree. Brett Favre's final season with the Packers would have been an incredible note for him to go out on, but he seems more interested in tarnishing his legacy by tacking on asterisks and footnotes.
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.
