Think my post count is around 25.7 per day, though can't be sure how I made .7 of a post. ;)
because it's a calculated average....the mathematical mean
Thanks babes. :p

For the record, my mathematics teacher was mean, too.
I always had great math teachers..I love math and I was very good at it.....until CALCULUS in college

I was always in advanced math classes...my senior year in high school I even had a double math class that was supposedly college level

getting a good grade is all that matters since you'll never use any advanced math. If you need to, there's always a computer program that does it

when I was in college I failed calculous. not because I didn't know what I was doing, but because I skipped a step on the exam. When I got the exam back I talked to the professor about it, he said all of my answers were correct but he didn't give me credit for them because I didn't "show my work" even though he never said that we had to right out all the steps...unfortunatly I was only a freshman so I didn't know that I should have gone to a dean and tried to argue the grade

Most employers here don't even care about exam results, aslong as you have the experience needed.

I just want to live where you are,
But where is that? Is it in me?
Or is it in you? Or is it somewhere
Out there, hiding from us?

I could never get the hang of algebra, until I got a computer and learned how to program in Basic - which is pure algebra. Now it makes perfect sense, of course.

Or a degree.

I was temping at one job, did such a good job at streamlining an existing job, they actually created a brand new job paying £17,000 a year. Naturally I expected to be offered the post, and was dismayed to learn I wasn't even in the running as I didn't have a degree. Thing is, the guy who got the job didn't understand it, and they called me to train him. I told them no, that Mr Degree should be able to figure it out, I'm just a temp !! He couldn't figure it out, so they went back to doing it he hard way. Serves 'em right !!!
