'Splosion Man; Where all you do is 'splode

I've been playing a game that has recently been added to the Xbox Live Arcade - 'Splosion Man developed by Twisted Pixel. You don't shoot or punch or use a sword or stomp in this game. All you do is 'splode as you make your way across 100 stages set in a laboratory complex as scientists try to prevent you from escaping or at least 'sploding around them.

Every face button on the controller causes your character to explode and the right trigger is a sort of suicide explosion which you can use if you get stuck and need to restart a section. You can explode up to three times in quick succession before having to recharge. You can recharge your energy by coming into contact with walls or the floor. The challenge is using your abilities to get past obstacles or through the intricately designed levels.Your character is absolutely hyperactive, making Sonic the Hedgehog appear to be in a coma. There are times when I find it hard not to smile at the gibberish he enthusiastically shouts or the animations when you leave him standing in place. There are other graphical touches such as humans turning into cuts of steak or ham when you 'splode near them.

As original Xbox Arcade games go, this one is worthy.

That looks like fun, and I love the manic laughter coming from him. Cool !!
