Big sports weekend, and I missed most of it. Very happy that my Fins went 2-0 against the Jets for the season - havent had that in a looooong time, coupled with two 100+ yard kickoff returns for touchdowns! GO FINS! Another bad week for Eli. Surprised that the GreenBay fans still have so much love for Brett - that was a good game what little I saw of it, but I still would have liked to see GB hand Brett another loss for the season. Then there's Carolina vs. AZ... ....Well, I dont have much love for either team really, but I'm just calling that game as turnover-payback for last season's playoff game. |

Despite my Hawks getting killed by Dallas, Carolina managed to help keep us in the hunt for the division. It says something about the NFC West that my guys are 2-5, and still aren't really out of the fight yet. With Detroit coming to town next week, that should be a good morale boost. That said, with Lofa Tatupu and Walter Jones now officially gone for the rest of the season, it's hard for me to imagine us really turning this ship around. |
Once upon a time, a man lived. This man was a man who really lived. He was the best there was at what he did, living. Living is what he did, and he did it well. In fact, he did it too well. He lived so well that he made other people stop living. That is why he had to be stopped. To stop him, they sent Rimo.

Hey now! We beat the Lions this week! Granted, we ended the first quarter down 17-0...but we fought back! Okay, 12 of our points came from field goals because we couldn't finish a damn drive...but we still got 32! Alright, fine...but it's not like just anyone can beat the Lions! ...... Okay, fine. |

The Dallas Cowboys have played pretty well for the past three games (even though they barely beat the Eagles this past Sunday). I'm still shocked that they are currently number one in their division. I'm also shocked that the New York Giants are currently 5-4. That is kind of sad.... |

Tell me about it. At least the Colts are still undefeated, so there's that at least for me, but its doubtful there'll be a brother's Superbowl at this point. |

I'm hoping that the Colts make it to the Superbowl. The Cowboys might make it to the play offs but, I would be absolutely shocked if they made it to the Superbowl. They've improved but, aren't good enough yet to be at that level yet. If only they would get rid of the marshmallow coach that they have right now....things would improve dramatically if a decent coach could be found...and kept.

Fuckin Fins. I cant believe with only a 6 point lead, on their own 20-ish, with 1:40 left to play, that Henne put the ball in the air. Putz. |
