Don't worry, GH will be beaten by next week. I'm actually taking the boys to Sea World tomorrow and won't be back till Monday. I'll hook it up then.
That could actually work for you since there's a sale on PS3 games next week.

I have a dilema, maybe you can help me with it Founder. Currently, I have no drums for any GH system. I just never bought any. I have all GH games on PS2, I bought GH5 for PS3 but haven't opened it yet. Now here's the dilema....I want the drums. I've seen JUST the drums selling at retail for 99 bucks. The box says it's compatible with PS2 AND PS3. So that's a win, I can use the same drum set for my current games and won't have to buy a different set for future PS3 games I buy.

But Walmart currently has the complete band bundle for GH World Tour selling for 99 bucks.

-I could buy THAT bundle, and then just the GH5 game...total for all would be about 160 plus I'd have an extra GH World Tour game.

-Or I could buy the GH5 guitar bundle for 99, and then the drum set seperately for 99 and the total comes out to about 200.

Obviously, the first option sounds the best....my problem though is that if I buy the GH World tour bundle, I have no idea if the drumset in THAT bundle will be compatible with my current PS2 games. You would think so, but I'd hate to take the chance without knowing for sure.

So....any idea if that drum set in the PS3 GH World tour bundle is compatible for both systems? Or do you know of any cheaper alternatives to accomplish my goal?
Everything happens for a reason, but sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.

Best Buy will be having a sale on PS3 games - Buy one get one for 50% off. It starts on Sunday the sixth. You'll see it when the new Best Buy ad circulars are released.

It's tricky. I don't *think* that the GH3: WT bundle for the PS3 works with the PS2 but since I have never played it on that system, I'm not entirely sure. I do know that it will say on the box whether or not it is compatible.

There are PS2 to PS3 adapters out there for around $15 to $20 but they aren't great for Guitar Hero.

Do you need the guitar for PS3? A few Targets around the country are selling the wireless guitar with World Tour for $22.48. My local one is definitely selling them for that price.

My advice: First check the box see if the complete World Tour bundle is compatible with both systems. If it is, then you're set. If it isn't, get a drum/mic bundle that is compatible with both systems for $100. You can get the one that you saw locally or this one. If you still need the guitar for your PS3, buy the guitar bundle for $22.48 at Target or get someone to ship it to you. You can then try to sell the extra game on Craigslist for $10 or $15.

I dont know if this will be of any help but.....I was surprised to learn that my RockBand1 drum kit worked for GH4-WT on the PS2, along with the mic. Then I came to realize that all this stuff plugs in via USB, so yeah, why WOULDNT it work?

I know, that's why I'm saying...just imagining having enough water shlepped in to AZ to have a SeaWorld....must be like $350 admission for adults, $300 for kids.
I missed the part of her saying she was going to disneyland.

A dirty old man grabbed a little mouse tail while on vacation at Disney World, and he's lucky Mickey didn't catch him.

John Moyer, 60, was found guilty in an Orlando courtroom today after he groped a woman in a Minnie Mouse outfit during a trip to Walt Disney World in June.

The Pennsylvania grandfather was at the Magic Kingdom when he began to grope the breasts and rear end of the woman playing Minnie, Brittney McGoldrick.

McGoldrick said she pushed Moyer's roaming hands away, but there was little that she could do because she had to stay in character.

$(document).ready(function(){ $('#jqm_wrp_2') .jqDrag('.jqDrag') .jqm({ trigger: '#jqm_trg_2', ajax: 'http://www.nbcmiami.com/i/dispatcher/?command=LoadImage&id=21856592&caption=John+Moyer', target: '#jqm_cont_2', overlay: 0, onShow: function(h) { h.w.css('opacity',1).fadeIn("fast"); }, onHide: function(h) { h.w.fadeOut("fast",function() { if(h.o) h.o.remove(); }); } }); });

John Moyer

She said once she took off the costume, she reported the incident, and Moyer was arrested and charged with battery.

Moyer was sentenced to 180 days of supervised probation and must complete 50 hours of community service, according to WESH.

we have water in AZ :sarcastic: only the lower half of the state is a desert, and besides we have a few water parks, and a fake indoor beach front of sorts, but it's closing I think, been open since like 69, huge wave pool "big surf" where people actually surfed once upon a time (My Stepdad worked there one summer durring college)

and if that's not fun enough I'll be happy to personally throw you in one of the canals :slap:
we want the old Kai! "bring sexy back, vote Classic Kai"
