Just watched the last DVDs. Great series with a very unusual ending, love the final 5 mins . Some questions; 1. Isn't it a bit lame that they just leave Deanna on the old Earth? Seems a poor way for her character to go out although very 'Return of Starbuck'. 2. Would people really decide to give up all their technology and settle to be farmers on the new Earth? Will archaeologists find the remains of Raptors one day? 3. Are the other Cylons all destroyed? What happens if they turn up wanting revenge? 4. So was Starbuck an angel too? Always or just after she died? 5. Why is Lee convinced he'll never see his dad again? |

To be answered in the next series. There's bound to be one. |

There's Carprica in the works but it's a prequal set before the war. One thing that actually strikes me about this series is that the greatest love affair in it is actually between Saul Tigh and Adama, it's almost in the Spock/Kirk territory |

1. For some reason I don't remember that and can't answer it. 2. My guess is that most did, but I'm betting some didn't. There will be reports of ancient people using advance technology and perhaps some of them may even be perceived as Gods. That's my guess. 3. Of course some of the Cylons will turn up someday. They will be part of the final five. What happened before is happening again and will happen again and again.... 4. I think that Starbuck was always an angel. She was however human for a time. She was born a human and lived as such until she died. 5. I think it's just a gut feeling Lee has. He knows this is the final goodbye. These are just my opinion. I only saw the episodes once and really haven't discussed them much though. |
