Growing up and even now... Did you know about said things even though they were past its prime? And does it bother you when you reference something to another person and they don't know anything about it? For example: One of my co-workers didn't know what TOS was. and she's tad older than me. Only later on she did ask me "That's the one Kirk and Spock, right" She did know what TNG was though. And I don't think the kids I work with today would know anything about Dragnet. I love that show and watched it was a kid with my grandmother, even though it was almost a score since it had been on the air. I think they did an 80's version... Anyway, these days the Nick-at-Nite and TVLAND play shows from the 1990's and Early to Mid 2000's. Minus the Golden Girls.... However, there are digital over the air channels like AntennaTV and MeTV offering a passel of shows from the 1950's through Early 1990's . |

Well, the conversation began with the recent Trek film characters and I said that it was the same characters from TOS. |

I never expect someone to know the old shows. Macgyver references though, I hate having to explain that joke. |

Every Republic has its sins, but communism is a joke that is not funny. Get fluoride out of the water! We both said a lot of things that you are going to regret. | |

You said "TOS"? Normal humans that are not nerds like us have no idea what that is Just like I had no idea what you were talking about the other day with the Big Bag thingy Plus there is no way to figure out what TOS means in relation to Star Trek |
