I don't know of any natural language that is that guttural and cutting. Did they think he was speaking nonsense?
They had no idea what it was. As soon as Sheldon started speaking I cracked up and said Oh my God that's Klingon! The kids just looked at me like I was some kind of idiot and then Leonard said to Sheldon that he told him not to do the speech in Klingon or something like that.

The kids then looked at me amazed and asked me how in the world I knew that.

I find it interesting that The Big Bang Theory and The Walking Dead are two of the most popular shows on TV. I think there must be way more closet geeks out there than we realize.

And Doctor Who
Every Republic has its sins, but communism is a joke that is not funny. Get fluoride out of the water!
We both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

I've watched Ashes To Ashes (UK), Life On Mars (UK) and Life On Mars (US). Most people look at me like :wtf: :ummm: ...
I really love "Life on Mars"
"Ashes to Ashes" hasn't even played in the US yet as far as I know.
but I have seen most of it except for the last season.
I really like it as well... (Well it's basically the same story)
