I had this conversation with a friend of mine. She says she loves bed spins and when she drinks it's to become as wasted as possible, to the point of not remembering anything, even if it means being sick. I would say I drink between a little just to be social and enough to get a light buzz. There are some nights that my friends will keep topping off my drinks, so I end up losing count. I have to admit I've gotten a little beyond buzzed, but I'm not fond of losing too much control. |

I don't lose count. I usually have about 3 drinks. I neither like being dizzy nor sick. Weekend warrior is good enough (more like every other weekend). ![]() |

"Would you like to talk about what's bothering you or would you like to break some more furniture?" "My car just hissed at me. There's steam coming out of the engine" "Was it the coffee? Are we gonna go too, just like the captain?" "I know what time it is, I don't need a bloomin' cukoo clock"

Rarely these days. I wasn't that big of a drinker to begin with but in my early 20's, I drank a lot more than did now because I wanted try everything. I'm almost 30 now, and I limit to maybe a beer (12-24oz) or two. I also known a few Alcoholics that has really impacted how I drink and Don't drink. |

Every Republic has its sins, but communism is a joke that is not funny. Get fluoride out of the water! We both said a lot of things that you are going to regret. | |

My Uncle died of liver failure after being an alcoholic for about 50 years though we hadn't seen him in decades. My Grandmother died from mixing alcohol with sleeping pills. I've been around a few alcoholics over the years myself so yeah, that's probably had an effect as well; I can be drunk and still tell when others are taking it to excess. My bounce-back ain't what it used to be and being an enabler and being around a few other enablers a lot sure don't help either way. My thing right now is that my 20-yo half sister is fixing to be 21 next month and I'm trying to refrain from drinking with her in public, though I have been invited. I never was big on drinking with family. It makes me uncomfortable for some reason. |

My husband is an alcoholic. Thankfully, he was able to quit drinking via a hypno-therapist two years ago. Alcohol and drug abuse run rampant on his side of the family. My husband and I have educated both of our kids about the down falls of drinking alcohol and taking drugs. Thankfully, neither one of them seem interested in either drinking or taking drugs. They have both seen how their father behaved over the years whenever he was drunk. Because of what is going on in my family, I also don't drink. |

My girlfriend that says she loves the feeling of "bed spins" and being out of control when she drinks believes that she would be an alcoholic if she gave in to her cravings for alcohol. She's really careful and only has an occasional glass of wine. |

I don't drink much. Maybe a couple times a month. But I always find those days when I just want to be a bit tipsy are the days I just can't seem to make it happen.
