Have you ever wondered how people in Chinese, Mexican, etc. manage to tolerate a work day's worth of folk music? What if they actually hate it? For myself, the closest equivalent would be bluegrass. I like bluegrass, but I'm not sure that if I opened a fried chicken restaurant somewhere over seas that I would want to listen to bluegrass for 12 hours every day.

All about the fish tacos

You mean like in a restaurant or something?

I would think that they would be fine with it. There is certain music that relates to Italians. Some of it is folk music, some is the fifties/Sinatra stuff. I play it all day here when I have family parties and it's always on in the background of Italian Restaurants. It simply blends into the background and becomes part of the atmosphere.

You mean like in a restaurant or something?
Yes ma'am.
Well, I'm relieved to know that at least Italians are not suffering to appeal to a sense of the exotic.
