no, but there wasn't the means to do so easily either.

I'm just saying that every generation complains about the next one and likes to think they were responsible hardworking and respectful. And maybe you were. But not everyone your age was or you probably weren't like that all the time.

“Our youth now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for their elders and love chatter in place of exercise; they no longer rise when elders enter the room; they contradict their parents, chatter before company; gobble up their food and tyrannize their teachers.”

Who knows, he was always just asking frustrating questions.
Every Republic has its sins, but communism is a joke that is not funny. Get fluoride out of the water!

I wonder how he would feel about hundreds of kids crashing house parties with the intention of destroying the house and bringing in alcohol and drugs. This has become a national problem because of Facebook and other social media sites. It was on dateline two weeks ago and that was 2 months after it happened at my own house.

Lighten up, Francis

I'm sure things of a similar flavor happened back then too.

man, can you imagine explaining facebook to socrates?

When I was in high school there was a "wrecking crew" of football players that would crash parties and literally tear down walls at other high school parties. There is nothing new about parties taking on a life of their own in high school and people who were not invited showing up. What has changed is the technology.

If I was the host such a scenario would have involved firearms.

Give that Roo a beer

Now that parents and grandparents are on Facebook it's no longer cool

Look for something else to be the next big thing for the kids to be on in future

One thing I don't get is why parents of young kids find it necessary to create fussbook accounts for their kids to be on

They're not supposed to be on there anyway.
