We All A Little Insane....
He sat up, taking a deep long breath,
the air around him seemed to be cold and bitter against his body,
his sky blue eye's which captured the sky itself,
examined the landscape, in it's harsh nature.

Slowly The master turned his body, and almost like a leaf falling,
touched the ground, no sound made him seem there, he slowly began to walk forward, his large cape was wrapped around his body,
keeping everything hidden, as he slowly walked, his ear's
listened for the faintest sound.

He listened to the sound of nothingness..
...his own breathing gave no sound,
he walked over to the water's egde,
and knelt down beside it, slowly his hand came out,
his fingers where long and the texture was rought,
the feeling of sand paper, the dark colored
fingerless glove that ran up his arm.

He slowly cupped the cooled liquid and
brought it up to his mouth, like a savage beast,
the refreashing taste of the cold water running down his throat,
and some escaped his mouth and dripped down his chin,

Lifting his gaze he watch the sky for a moment,
before standing to his proper height,
his arm's becoming hidden again.

Coming from the The Campfire Site

Karah slowly opened her eyes, blinking and rubbed them slightly. The rest of the party seemed still asleep...well they stayed up later then her anyway.
She carefully maneuvered through the body's to get out of the shelter. She finally landed on the sand, and felt a slight wind hit her body, it wasn't to cold out, but the air was still cool from nighttime. She looked around, seeing that most of the people outside of the shelter had awakened already, and where walking around somewhere...then her head quickly turned as she saw Cicero, out of the corner of her eye, hurry over the sands to the left, towards the brush. She leaned over a bit, watching him and wondering quietly.
She walked over to the fire, it seemed that the others out here had been tending to it. She walked over to the woods edge and got a bit more wood, and cared for the fire a little. Once satisfied she took one last look around and then headed off into the bush.

***

She carefully made her way through the thicket. She new one of the adults, Anadell was it? Had found water some where around here...

He shifted his eye's toward the bush, and slowly
he walked in to the darkness, not far though he wanted to see who was coming, unless the person got lost but there was a small chance of that this wasn't a hard place to find....he had already began to mark it out though his marking skills where horrbile in there own right.

He sat within the tree. Watching...Waiting... he took a deep breath in
the air here seemed so much cleaner than it did in his home town...
sand wasn't flying or getting kick up around you as you walked, you weren't breathing in the dirty air, the air here seemed to relaxe him and make him sleepy though he wasn't much of a sleeper.

He quickly shook his head slowly he tugged his hood over his face more,
the idea of someone seening his face was almost unthinking able
though it might happen one day, and he must be ready for that day
suddenly his attention was brought to the sound of the brushes rushling, and he soon blended in with the shadows of the tree.

Karah walked slowly though the brush, just moments before she was scared nearly half to death by a noise behind her, turned out to be a rabbit. And here she had been so sure there was not a single living thing on this island except for the randomly appearing people. But it was as if the animals appeared overnight...or animal? besides the rabbit...she hadn't seen any others, and the island was still dead quiet.
She began to muse about the thought of taming a rabbit as a pet when she came upon the lake. She lightly sighed in relief as she came up to the waters edge and knelt down for a clear fresh drink.

He quitely blinked, watching the girl
his eye seemed downcast, slowly he slid out the tree
and on to the ground, he every so quitely
walked over to behind the girl.

His refection could be seen in the water,
though it was rather frienghting...
in a dark, deep tone of voice he spoke,
though his lips seemed not to move
"Where did you come from child...?"

It was more of a demand than an actual question,
his eye's looked down on her, as he stood behind her,
though a rather safe distance, he hated contact,
and the hooded feature added msytry to him.

( lol this is to much )

Karah cupped up some water and drank, slurping up the water. But suddenly she felt odd, the feeling of being watched with out hearing or seeing anything first. Silently hoping it was just another rabbit she was about to get up when someone overshadowed her. Reflexively she jumped up, almost falling into him, then wildly turning, yet again almost falling backward into the water, with one last leap back she landed to the side of him, taking one careful step back she whipped out her lighter defensively and stupidly waved the flame like a weapon. "Get away!"

(lol too much? XD)

He seemed amused by this behaviour,
only stepping out of the way from her waving the lighter,
He frowned slightly, "do you honestly think that tool will scare me?"
he asked even though the flame was burning, his face was compeletly hidden.

"that might work if you where waving a sword or knife around...but a flame is simply something that burns..." he said softly and he watched her for a moment, though his eyes where amused by her movements.

(yes, Karah hasn't been in situations like this, poor girl, better get used to it lol)

Her mind finally had caught up with the rest of her.
"No." she said darkly.
Now off autopilot she released her thumb turning the flame off and pocketed her lighter, knowing as much as he that it wouldn't do a thing for her, at that moment she wished she had a blowtorch...just to spite him with that "burns" remark.
She took another step back but did not run away, torn by her flight or fight responce, and with her couriosity.
She contemlated her options, pausing over the idea to kick him in the shins and run off...but this was a small island, and he didn't look like your average weirdo...actually more of one she saw in comics, with that cloak and face hidden so.

(lol she better if the Master takes a shine to her he will take her under his wing sort to speak XD)

"if you run..I will chase you...if you fight I will kill you...? such stupid human emotions...the flight or fight gene...which makes us humans..." He said, he slowly began to walk towards her.

"I wouldn't do what your thinking...it wouldn't be a good move...besides...you wouldn't be able to kick me anyway..."
He said his eye just refeclting the pale light,
"now answere my question....where did you come from child...?"
he asked once more.

He wasn't in much of a rush, so even if she did flight, he would manage to track her threw the shadows..."if I wanted to kill you...I would have by now..." He said, there was no emotions, or feelings behind his voice, He just quitely stared at her, with his face hidden, the though of him reading her mind was silly...but he didn't need to read her mind...he only had to watch her movements.

She breathed and quickly looked up, realizing from his words that her body language betrayed her...he was either skilled in this, or just naturally observant. She became tense, and leaned back a little as he approached.
But as he said his last remark she swallowed realizing he was right, so she finally answered him. "...Well...I'm not native to this island...if that's what your getting at."

"...so you do speak...more civilized than before..." he said nodding,
"I was being to wonder where you where afraid...or choose to stay silent."
slowly he simply crouched by the water, and quite began to drink,
every movement he done, there was no sound to it,
not even the water in his hand rippled or splashed.

"I wasn't getting at anything....I was asking where you are from..."
he simply stated, before standing back out, "I suppose following you would be an oppintion..."

Karah took a stance and grimaced at his first remark, taking it the wrong way obviously. I mean of course she was civilized!
Then she began to feel uneasy again as he went about getting another drink...she studied him for a moment, she had met and saw a lot of different people yesterday, he reminded her of some of those, the ones that seemed uneasy around people and had that whole mysterious Jedi-anime-superhero air...
She was snapped back to earth as he started to speak again and got up.
Her eyes squinted a little, "You look like the kind of person that would have just followed me silently...rather then speak to me anyway."

he smiled ever so slightly, "of course...and you will never give me a straight answere will you?" he was amused by this child,
more than the other children of his home land.

"what is your name..?" he asked, morely requiring a name from the girl,
he took a step towards her, "do I fear you so? or are you in awe...?"
a soft deep chuckle came from him "do not try to see....you will never see my face...no one alive has yet."

She listened to his first question, watching him.
Then the second...becoming uneasy about the whole situation.
And then the third, as he came right up to her. All she could see was darkness, a body concealing it's self from the world, and then he made his final remark.
"S-stop!" She yelped becoming deer eyed, quickly she ducked and moved away, back behind him. She took two more steps back hesitating, and then broke into a wild run.
If there was one thing she could do to save her life ever, it would be to run. She had an excellent gate, and her running power and speed was quite a gift. Not only that but she dodged, ducked and lept over the small brush, trees and rocks with grace and flow.....but she was indeed still just a young unskilled girl.

He watche dher, letting her get a start "...and so it begins...the training." he said before complelty
disappering in to the shadows.

it was stupid and mad running from a killer,
suddenly with in the shadows he stepped out infront of her,
winding her, with the bud of his blade,
causing her to fall to the ground,

"you run like a coward....though you have exellent speed for a young girl...that was a foolish move..." he looked down at her, pointing the tip of his blade at her, "do not try to run, do not try to escape...because I'll track you and kill you before you have the chance..." he said his eye's where cold and hard, but the softed, and he crouched down to her eye level.

"for a young girl you have a great raw talent in speed...
"...but you will always be raw unless you forget what you can not see."
he said standing up and placing his knife back in to his cloak,
"I can help you....but you must over come the fear..." he said slowly he held a hand out, "the first step is to trust me....as long as you trust me...I will not harm you." he said with a calm tone.
