Yesss. XD so 175 from 176 and here's my Pride form: The Name: Gypsy Location of Pride: Generally, they spend their time wandering from place to place on Bellview but often they make their camp at Bellview's Fairground; there had been a carnival in town before all of the humans had passed on so all of the concession stands and rides are still in place. Often they'll stay there for kitting months or during the frigid winter; its also the resting place for the Reader and his Emperor, Empress, and Hierophant. They are usually found there at night. Description of Pride: The Gypsy Pride is a band of felines from all walks of life that simply choose to travel together for safety or comfort reasons. They're a loose knit group in the sense that they often are away from each other at least during the day; it isn't uncommon for sections of the group to break off to wander nearby. When they are together, however, they are as close as any family; break off groups often return with meals and the entire group will gather to eat together. They welcome strays but are wary of other pride cats. If it were possible and easy, the Gypsy group would likely travel further than the tiny island of Bellview; without boats or modes of transportation, however, they remain on their small piece of land. Ranks: The Reader He is the leader of the group and makes all of the final decisions. He's often not around the fairground until late at night, which he makes a point of being at for his pride. He isn't an extremely authorative leader and rather laissez faire about his subjects as long as they aren't causing issues. He cares about them but doesn't feel the need to baby sit them a most of his pridemates are like him and enjoy the freedom of life. He may often be found telling stories to the pride kits and is very fond of young felines. He is also the judge and jury of any crimes committed. The Emperor and Empress They are a pair of cats, not necessarily mated, who are second in command to the Reader. They are more often found among the pride, usually splitting off to go with various break off groups. They are the Reader's ears and usually highly trusted. They feel out the pride for traitors and back stabbers; they often have help from the Lovers for this. The Hierophant This cat is an advisor and usually very wise. If the Reader has an issue he is ever uncertain of, he will discuss it with his world wary Hierophant and then his Emperor and Empress. The Hierophant is generally older but it isn't necessary if he is wise. The Fool Children of the Reader, they are the reader's world and protected very heavily. They are allowed to venture off the Fairground only with a Strength or a Chariot at their side; they must have an escort until they are at least ten months, on which they are given the choice of staying with the Gypsy clan or leaving for their own travels. The Lovers Spies for the Gypsy Pride; they often are used both for other Prides and the Gypsy pride itself. Since the pride is so wide spread, its easy for the Reader to not know all of the goings on. The Lovers are therefore, directly under the orders of the Emperor and Empress. Often times there will be a pair of them working together but it isn't a necessity. Strength These are the Warriors and Guards. They are the ones most commonly left at the fairground and are cats who don't feel the traveling need as much as their fellow felines. They protect not only the territory while the rest of the pride is away but the kits and elderly that stay behind as well. They are the backbone of the pride and, if it ever happened, they would be the ones to go into battle to protect the pride. The Chariot Hunters and Huntresses; often they are the ones away from the fairgrounds the most. They do all of the major hunting and feeding of the group; they're the life blood for many as they bring food for the entire clan. They are also, in combination with the Lovers, used for scouting out new hunting grounds and territory. The Hermit Medicine cats; they are the healers and generally are split into traveling Hermits and homebody Hermits. Traveling Hermits are healers for those on the move, such as the the Lovers and the Chariot. They would also be the ones to go onto the battlefield with Strength. Homebody Hermits are the ones that stay behind on the fairground to help the elderly and birth the kits. They are midwives or care for those who aren't able to travel. The World These are just pride members who have joined the Gypsy pride for protection, family, and food. They are free to meander between the fairground camp and the rest of Bellview. They are called the World because without them, there would be no pride. The Hanged Man Prisoners, often held at the fairground in the massive tilt-a-world. They are guarded by several Strength and are treated as dangerous. It is uncommon for Gypsy to take prisoners; the few that are taken hostage have either done something criminal or are from other prides and were out for malicious intent. The Devil Exectutioners; these are cold felines who aren't afraid of taking life. They are called on sparingly if it can be helped by the Reader. But on occasion they are found necessary for traitors or other pride members who simply know too much. Death These are the members of the pride that have passed on. |
