Silmarwen and Nemireth

The air was pleasantly warm, save for a cool breeze or two blowing her back back as she ascended the steps to the library. Technically, she was perched between the Water dragon's folded wings, a leather-bound, dogeared notebook cradled in her arms. Clearly, said notebook was well used. Well, considering how it did hold various notes taken down during lessons and that Sil was a rather studious person - the oddly yellowish pages held some almost unintelligible scrawlings that looked quite similar to chicken scratches at some points. It was a wonder how she managed to read them at all. Like now, for instance, flipping through the notes and skimming a few pages as the pair entered the library.

The brunette was actually quite contentedly sliding off the iridescent side of her dragon until Nemireth suddenly sneezed, her torso rippling with movement and promptly sending the elf tumbling to the floor.

Thud.

Fortunately, it wasn't actually that far to the ground, but the young elf landed on her rear end, the notebook unharmed - well it had gone through a great deal before, not as if a short fall would hurt it. The brunette picked herself up, dusted herself off and flashed a sheepish grin to whoever had turned around curiously. Without further ado, she set off to look for the books that the teacher had recommended previously, green orbs scanning the shelves in mild excitement. I mean, who wouldn't get interested when learning new stuff like how to heal?

Nemireth's head hovered somewhere near her shoulder, occasionally disappearing to browse for herself. Otherwise, she pretty much followed Sil as the elf methodologically ran her fingers over the spines of the books, ending up with a growing pile of fairly heavy books. Which somehow or other ended up being carried by Nemireth, who could not bear her rider struggling around with a pile of books. It was amusing, really, and for the longest time she was torn between watching Sil go about, expression nonchalant despite her arms straining, and offering to help. She chose the latter, anyway.

The tables were nicely large, leaving plenty of space for girl and dragon to do their own reading. Silmarwen was jotting down important notes in her notebook whilst Nemireth had apparently come across a point that she did not understand. Well, neither did her rider apparently. And so began a short journey around the library to trouble some of the ... dragons less likely to bite her head off and could possibly clarify this bit for her.

She did find another after some awkward mental battle, where one half simply wanted to go back and pretend she had never read this while the other eagerly wanted to go forward and ask. Nemireth was a rather shy dragon, and while it was getting slightly better with the time she had spent with the rest of the candidates, it wasn't as if she was totally outgoing. The slender Water approached with a tentative dragon-equivalent of a smile. "I'm sorry to disturb," she started, voice soft and low so as to not disturb any others. "Could I ask you a question? There's a part which I don't quite get in this book I was reading."

Unipelta

The library seemed to be an odd fascination for one of the other wyrmlings, she was hardly, if ever seen actually reading any of the books (and many times she wound up ripping up whatever book she had been reading out of seemingly random bouts of anger), but she was still present here for a good portion of many days. It was almost like a trap, she would see all these books out of order and suddenly have to reorganize entire shelves, even if she had to take books away from people that were still reading nearby. She couldn't stand things out of order in any aspect of life.

This went on in a largely unobtrusive manner for some time, at least until she spotted someone with a random assortment of books on one of the tables nearby. Her eyes focused intently on this thing, she had not cared about it in even the slightest before, so knew nothing about it other than it was currently an affront to her personal senses. The skittering of her many legs were heard as she brashly pushed aside Nemireth and almost instantly descended upon Silmarwen without even a moments pause or hesitation.

Whatever books that were still stacked were suddenly re-arranged into correct alphabetical order, and any that were open were snatched and likewise replaced back on the table in order. It happened at breakneck speeds, before the water wyrmling seemed to calm down a little bit and observe the new arrangements. Finally she decided to move Silmarwen over a few inches, and sat down...

"You can't learn healing from books. You have to make hurt people-" there was some incomprehensible chittering noises from her as she seemed about to bolt off after someone- who hurriedly put their book back on the shelf and left her line of sight. "...Not hurt." Her voice seemed to alternate between quiet, and high pitched with shriek like tones as she offered her sage like advice.

She did have a reputation for being able to destroy the supposedly hardest material known via punching, and also... Well, punching things a lot.

Silmarwen and Nemireth

Nemireth really needed to work on her judgement of character. Seriously, she should have known better to approach the unpredictable shrimp-like Water dragon. So when Unipelta oh-so-politely strode past her, why was she so surprised? Nemireth let out an uncharacteristic huff of annoyance before swinging back around, the long tail curled in a loop to prevent it from hitting or colliding into anyone. That had happened enough during the first few days, thank you very much.

Despite the ... psychoticness that the destructive Unipelta was known for, it seemed that Silmarwen was in no great danger, apart from maybe being a heart attack when the wymling descended on her. There was only the slightest squeak, the elf sitting stock still as the dragon bustled around her - not that that took very long. Her hands were left poised over empty space as the books were obsessively arranged, though she did not dare to move until the dragon had finally seemed to calm down. By then, Nemireth had crossed the floor to settle down not too far behind, watching curiously.

The wyrmling's voice could really hurt, but Silmarwen wisely sat through without a comment on the fact that the shriek-like tones would normally make her lean a distance away. "But how?" Her question was actually genuine, head tilted slightly as she observed the other. Unipelta was a water dragon too, maybe she could do some healing magic? To be honest, Silmarwen kind of doubted it. Even she, despite being rather unobservant at times, had witnessed the shrimp-based Water dragon's love for...punching...things. Everything, it seemed.

Shockingly Shocking

Unipelta's intense and odd gaze seemed unable to fixate on anything at the moment, she glanced around and randomly fiddled with her claws or numerous little legs as if being still might mean death. This wasn't a bad thing though, when she focused on something it meant that she saw something wrong with it or... Well, it just generaly wasn't pleasant... Which was a little unnerving when that 'but how' arrived and Unipelta's gaze suddenly fixated on Sil with such intensity that it might bore a hole through the other.

...Instead though, there was the very slow movement of one arm as it reached over, and drew a long shallow cut along the psychotic dragons own hand. A little bit of gray-ish blue blood dripped out of it, but then the cut began to glow slightly and closed again. "Make unhurt." She never once looked at her own hand and instead stared right into Silmarwen's skull. It was... surprising she could grasp healing, seeing that she hardly seemed to understand how to speak correctly. No one had ever managed, or attempted to get close enough to find much out about this dragon though-- not that there wasn't good reason for that, any that were close to her for too long seemed to end up in the infirmary with shattered bones.

Slowly the sharp point of her...wing..? spike moved forward toward Sil, and without any movement on the other was going to stab into the riders shoulder. It was moving so slowly it was obvious where it was going to land, and all but the most addled of individuals could move out of the way... But then there was the question of, which would result in more injury? Not letting her do what she intended with that spike, and maybe getting punched into next week, or letting her do it and hope she didn't intend to maim?

They really could have picked a better dragon to ask.
