Sedira gazed in wonder at the coral reef. They always made her sit in awe for a bit. Even though Sedira was over a hundred years old, she still found them gorgeous. The color made her remember that not everything in life was bad. Technically, she was heading toward where the humans lived. She much wanted to meet one, especially a child as it was one child that had changed her heart about the humans. Long ago, she had taken it on as her mission to kill humans, but now she was of a different mind. Singing slightly, she watched the waves ripple and grinned greatly. Sedira wondered how she would contact one of these people.

River sped forward into the shallower waters. The siren's flexible tail and massive fins helped her propel herself onward. The female lightly swerved to her left toward another woman of her kind nearby. Perhaps she could have a little chat with her. Rivera may have strongly disliked humans and half-sirens and acted rather independent, careless and confident but she could hold in her patience around most sirens. Small air-filled bubble began to float upward as she took a few breaths. Sirens don't need a lot of air underwater but they sometimes release air bubbles from their nostrils or mouths.

"What may you be doing around here?" Rivera hissed lightly as her cold gaze fell upon the light-toned face of the sea-woman. The female's curly light-blond hair floated around her pale face before she reached a cold frail hand to push it back. It wasn't too often that she wandered around the shallower waters but curiosity defeated her and lured her into the light. The siren was curious as of how the female would react to her question and what she was doing here.

"Just stopping over, before I go closer to shore to check out the humans. You?" Sedira asked with an ounce of suspicion. She would not release that she had no intention of killing humans, after all, many sirens didn't take kindly to the humans. Though she didn't like them, Sedira wished to know more of them before she decided to kill anymore. If only the humans would realize how they had hurt the sirens, but they didn't seem to know that they existed or even care. Long black strands of hair floated through the water but Sedira made no try to pull them back into the rest of her hair. She loved the freedom of the water.

The siren's ears listened to the soft tones of the dark-haired woman's voice before replying to her reply. "Me? Well, I'm just here to admire all of the beauty... I don't venture into the shallower waters often" she said; her voice cold as ice and jagged as the cliffs near the North Sea. She could see a trace of dishonesty in the sea maiden's eyes and it brought her to ask, "What exactly do you plan to do with the humans?" rather darkly as her Russian tones chimed. If she did find out about what she actually intended to do, she would not even hesitate to kill her when she least expected.

Sedira looked at the blond distrustfully. There was no reason for her to ask such questions. After all, they were both sirens and so both entitled to a bit of respect and privacy, or so Sedira thought. Looking her companion over she uttered a small sigh. "I merely wish to watch them for awhile. THey interest me like they are interested in fish. I wish to watch them and find out more about them." A small smirk flitted across her lips.

Rivera couldn't help herself; it was one of her main traits to be nosy and all. She probably would keep slipping in the question throughout the rest of their conversation. She listened as her ears caught the pitches of a light sigh that the woman released and she waited for words to come from her. The siren didn't hesitate to reply rather boldly. "I see... They aren't all that fun for me to watch but it's fun to mess with them" she hissed before giggling to herself for a moment. "Now tell me though, what is there to learn from them?" the sea maiden said, accusing the humans for just being their own kind. The blond did believe there was no knowledge she could borrow from them since they were the ones who evolved from her own species. Her cold gaze focused on nothing but the empty space as she was lost in her thoughts.

"I merely wish to watch them. I'm not sure that I can learn anything for them, but I like to hunt my prey." She muttered. It was half-lie and half-true. The first part was definitely true. Though she didn't see humans as prey at all, she really did want to learn about the people before she went back to killing people. Since she had seen the little girl that held her in awe, Sedira had been out of her element. She wasn't sure that she could go on killing them, if they were not as bad as she had been taught all of her life.
