Level: We only accept applicants of level 70 (level 80 when WotLK arrives). If you apply previous to attaining level 70 Without at least a character at 70, (in case of which you’ve rerolled and are currently levelling and WILL hit 70 before WoTLK is released), your application will not be reviewed resulting in it being declined. Age: On a Pale Horse is an 18+ guild. The reason for this is that our members don't feel that have to watch what they say and/or do, or have to deal with immature whiny teens who could be in the guild. Swearing in Guild Chat, Raids and Ventrilla can occur, so the 18+ rule falls into place here as we don't like to have our members feeling pressured to not express themselves. Playtime: Raiders are expected to play enough hours per week to keep up with the demands the guild have set. Being present for only raids isn't going to encourage any progress or friendship; we are still a social guild. We also want, on release once we’re freshly 80, for you to spend a reasonable amount of time with your professions, heroics, and generally gearing for Naxx (and also getting to know everyone of course!), the quality of epics from heroics is on par with Naxx10 loot at present – so it is a great benefit to have worked towards. This obviously includes your professions as well; level them for your own gain, and for that of the guilds. Getting to know each other is crucial as well as what makes the game fun. Fluency in English is a must. Raiding: On a Pale Horse currently raid 4 days per week on Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. 20:00 to 23:45. Every raider is required to attend 3 out of 4 raids per week to remain at raider rank and keep its benefits. In some circumstances we may extend the raid by 10-15 minutes if we feel it's needed. Loot: All Bind on Pickup loot that's dropped within a 10-man and/or 25-man dungeon will be dealt with via Bid-DKP. Currently the priority of this system will run from Raider to Casual to Trialist to Alt. Professions / Skills: We will only accept applicants who have maximised their professions to 375 (450 in WotLK), including First Aid. Or have the means to do so upon level 80 Asap. Skills: In addition to being a friendly and respectful player to both other members of On a Pale Horse and those outside of the guild, you are expected to excel at your class. On a Pale Horse is a relatively small guild of committed friendly players that expect a high level of skill and dedication from its members. Previous MMO experience isn’t required. If you feel that there are still elements of your class that you haven't learnt from yet, please consider whether you are eligible to join our team. Gear: Applicants are required to have the best equipment at your current raiding experience in the majority of your slots. The gear you choose to equip will show us your understanding about the gear that your class requires to fulfil your role within 10-man and 25-man raiding. Within your application, please provide an armoury link to your character as well as a recent WWS report for us to review if possible. Classes: The current slots we have open for certain classes will be listed separately and updated when any changes have been made. Players, who are of these classes, should consider applying due to a more probable chance of acceptance. If your class is not listed, this does not mean you should not apply, it just means that the demands we set will be more demanding. Just remember we are never closed to friendly players whom truly excel at their class. VoIP: We currently are undecided on our program for VoiP. All members are required to have access to said program, a microphone is not required but is a considered a plus, as long as you can listen to instructions that's our main focus. Process: After you have successfully filled out an application (Template: http://z13.invisionfree.com/Ona_Pale_Horse...php?showtopic=6 ), our Officers will review your details and compare them to our requirements. This process can take up 7 days, depending on the complexity of a decision. Feedback will be given on your application via the Forum, so it's your job to read on the outcome during the week from your submission date. Process Continued: Upon positive feedback from your application and approval for you to enter your trial period, you will be contacted by an Officer in-game for an invite. The length of your trial is set by how positive or negative your performance is. During your trial period all members of the guild will be giving feedback on you after 2 weeks. Our Officers will make the final decision to whether or not you are guaranteed a spot in the guild |
