The resort known as Paradise Bay was a world class tourist destination that became a city overnight. The star attraction for this buzzing resort city is its boardwalk. Here all the big movers and shakers want to be seen amongst the resort hotels, swinging jazz clubs and glitzy casinos. Even after the island was retaken by the government the tables keep spinning and the slots keep ringing. Do you have what it takes to rub elbows with this city's elite?

This area is the dirty little secret the travel companies wish they could sweep under the rug. The truth is resorts need workers, and they often aren't paid very well. Here the families that made the boardwalk possible live in poverty. The rule of law is and always has been street gangs and the drug trade is alive and well.

Urbanization fades away and the slums and neon lights give way to the dense foliage and danger around every unseen turn. The jungle of the island is a no man's land where the security systems have massive blind spots and murders and thieves run around like small armies. See nature reclaim old ruins, ghost towns and military buildings first hand. Out here you can truly be free but the greatest danger of all is still man. Well that and some kind of crazy jungle cat, those are probably out there too.

Ciudad del Cabo, or Cabo, as the locals call it remains a lasting tribute to Spanish colonialism. Its not a flashy casino resort town but it has that old latin swagger and thick old walls to hide behind. The colonial masters are long gone though, replaced by crime families and syndicates that try to keep their version of peace while roving street gangs prey on the weak. Gangsters in cars from the 50s and further back ride around with Uzis doing drivebys on rival groups. The prison guards are long gone, this is a completely prisoner controlled area.

This is the most heavily regulated portion of the island. The guards have set up their main base here and prisoners living in the area are under their strict rule. The upside of this oppression is that any attack from other inmates is quickly responded to and basic amenities such as visitation and running water are provided.

This is where most prisoners enter the island and if you get to leave, this is where you will exit. The base has two parts, the prison like fortress the guards run and the urban area around the fortress where the prisoners live.

All the other interesting places on the island, the rundown plantation houses, colonial ruins, rebel camps, guard outposts and many more. Don't expect to godmod yourself a munitions factory and a Cadillac dealership, this is still a prison island.

Downtown LA like any good American city gets a bit dangerous at night and is devoid of any wasteful natural garden space. Large communities of Asian minorities, white collar executives and homeless people live together in this sprawling metropolis. Crime is alive and well as the powerful families and syndicates work right next to the low level street gangs.

From the comfort of your balcony you can see the city for miles and care about the poor at a safe distance from the comforts of your own home. You get up here and you sir or madam have made it.
