I beg to move:![]() Government Supply Act Continuously determined to facilitate understanding and co-operation, THE SENATE OF PANESSOS ASSEMBLED hereby: 1. a) Directs all Senate Nations to pay a Senate subscription fee of one ten-thousandth of their GDP quarterly to the Regional Government, b) Directs all Senate Nations wishing to use Government Scientific Facilities to pay a scientific subscription fee of $1 billion to the Regional Government, 2. a) Authorizes the Government to use the money of the Senate Subscription fee only for maintaining the activities of the Regional Government in the interests of all members, b) Authorizes the Minister for Science to use the money from the scientific subscriptions fee to set up and operate Government Scientific Facilities in the interests of those nations paying scientific subscription fees, and 3. Directs the Government and Government agencies spending money to speedily report to the Senate on government expenditure whenever the Senate requests it so that the Senate may review and if necessary direct spending. Since this is rather essential for the government to function, and some money must be raised somehow; there will be an extended period for discussion and amendments. |

Still no more debate? I think I should warn the Senate that as Speaker, I will have no hesitation in passing a law with only 2 votes. (Or repealing a law with only 5 votes, if anyone moves to repeal it afterwards). Edited by Libraria and Ausitoria, Nov 1 2014, 03:47 PM.

By popular acclaim; voting seems to have begun. Normal conventions will be followed for how long the vote will take. (I.e. long enough for a workable majority to be obvious). |
