No comments? Nobody defending their national interests/industries? Come on, there must be some opposition to such a blatantly laissez-faire capitalist proposal. |

Certainly. It criminalizes discrimination based on country of origin of the goods/services/persons relative to your own country's goods/services/persons, making a proper open market. |

Then, as MoET, I will say I don't like this law, because in my point of view it may take away some liberty from some countries or some countries companies. |

Perhaps I should explain my reasoning for this trade proposal. Free trade can come in two forms: first, no tariffs. Second, free competition/no unfair advantage. The second is better to reward those who are efficient and innovative. Nations which prop up their exports by currency manipulation/subsidies/unsafe workplaces have an unfair advantage in a world with no tariffs. But nations which can out-innovate their competitors in spite of high exchange rates, high taxes, high workplace standards, and the like will have an advantage from free competition, which will ultimately bring prices down more. The second model is the model the WA uses at the moment. |

Suggestions as of now... 1. Directs all nations involved with the regional government within Panessos to: a. Inform the Legislative when participating in regional government, b. Effectively prohibit all persons within their Jurisdiction(s) from discriminating against: i. Assets and persons moving within or from each other's Jurisdiction(s), versus ii. Assets and persons native to their own Jurisdiction(s), c. Accept assistance, should it be offered, from other Member Nations in effecting such prohibition, d. Advise and co-operate with each other regarding changing monetary, fiscal, and economic circumstances within their nation; and 2. Directs the Minister of Economics and Trade to report to the Legislative frequently on which Member Nations are in compliance with this trade agreement, and make suggestions for how other economic advancements might be made. *Which WA Resolution does this follow? |

It follows Resolution no. 209, which is one of the really nice bits of the WA. Your suggestions shall all been adopted, although I shall change 1a slightly to reflect Constitutional modifications. |
