Actually, Americans are. You know it's called the Philosopher's Stone literally everywhere in the world except America? JKR originally wrote it as the Philosopher's Stone, but Americans were all derp we don't understand what a Philosopher is we need a more wizard-like term for people to be interested.

Of course she did she's British. :rolleyes: And you realize those are children's books right? God forbid some 10 year old American kid doesn't know what a fucking Philosopher is. And it makes it sound more magic, and the movie is called the Sorcerer's Stone too.

lol are you serious? The movie is only called the Sorcerer's Stone in America. They had to like refilm the scenes whenever they mentioned the Philosopher's Stone and change it to Sorcerer's for the dumb Americans.

And I digress whenever someone calls HP a children's series.

Why would a Philosopher want to live forever? I think it makes more sense to think about a Sorcerer trying to live forever instead.
