These are the "How-They-Work" of the various things in Pokemon in this world.

POKEBALLS AND CAPTURE
As seen in videos, the Pokeball is as simple as a touch based system where it opens up when excessive force is applied directly on the ball. Once opened in this fashion, it will both absorb using a vacuum based suction, while also producing a "Minimization Energy". Minimization Energy was found by a scientist many years ago, in fact, most of his notes on what the substance truly is have disappeared with how long ago it was, but Pokemon like Clefairy, Grimer, and Chansey hold it within themselves, and use it to shrink themselves for protection (As a note, his notes also show pictures of Voltorb, but many scientists have no idea why that is.) When this energy was founded, humans found a way to artificially produce it, thus causing the existence of Pokeballs. In order to make sure they stay small inside the Pokeball, the insides have a mineral known as, "Moon Stone", which keeps energy, rays, and electricity at a constant rhythm. If the Pokemon is caught long enough, because the Moon Stone keeps the ray at a constant rhythm, it will actually be strong enough to be implanted into the Pokemon, thus the Pokeball will always be able to "Return" a Pokemon because the Pokemon's natural energy in itself will become accustom to that specific Pokeball's Minimization Energy. Because each Minimization Energy comes out differently, you can not simply transfer Pokeballs, because the energy rhythm needs to be readjusted to the new ball. If you fail to catch a Pokemon, you can not use the same ball because once the Pokemon is released before the rhythm can be adjusted, the energy of that Pokeball will become void. Master Balls find a way to instantly get the rhythm to be synced the moment they enter the Pokeball, but this is a very expensive process.

POKEBALLS AND OWNERSHIP
When a person desires to be a Pokemon trainer, they will be brought to the Pokemon Center where they will prick their finger and take a blood sample. This blood sample is important for identity reasons, and will be placed as information on their Trainer Card. Trainer Cards are actually electronic, and are used to give the Pokeball the "Owner To" statistic that determines the Pokemon ownership. This is done wirelessly thanks to the technology that Bill provided in 1988, which became public in 1991. Trainer Cards are Solar Powered and use as little power as a Calculator. Now, all players are required to catch Pokemon with Pokemon Trainer Card accessible Pokeballs to prevent or quickly take action against theft crimes.

POKEMON AND MOVES
Pokemon have the potential of a great many abilities from the moment they are born, but they do not know how to perform the actions necessary. It is up to a Pokemon Trainer to help assist in this. By giving names to each move a Pokemon has, the vocal command will help assist in the very selective memory of a natural Pokemon. Like teaching a dog to sit, teaching basic moves to a Pokemon can be pretty difficult, especially since humans need to use body language with abilities they can not do themselves. Luckily, because Pokeballs can now receive information, it is now possible to transmit images and sounds to a Pokemon's mind using items known as "Technical Machines". Trainer Cards are in themselves a technical machine that help with simple moves such as Tackle and Wrap. Because of this technology, starting your Pokemon journey is a snap compared to the past. When the basics are taught, they are able to teach themselves, with assistance from you of course, and eventually will start to turn their basic "Water Gun", to a deadly "Hydro Pump". Because of the Trainer and Pokemon relationship that comes in teaching new abilities, there is a saying that the best trainers are able to give Pokemon commands with sign language.
