Hey everyone,

First things first, I want to thank the hosts, the players and everyone that has been involved in this game for all the work and dedication put in over the last few weeks. It's been the craziest and most intense game I've ever been a part of, so I'm proud that I managed to make it to the F3. It's definitely one to remember. :<3

I've tried to condense this as much as possible, but it's still pretty long and I apologise for that. I can't help but write a lot! If you guys have any questions or want me to expand on anything, I'm ready for it. I know I might have a hard time getting a few people's votes tonight, but I'm going to be honest and give it everything I've got.

One more thing: I know I lied to people in this game. I know I may have appeared to pander and

Game Summary

 • On original Kanto, I quickly found my place in an alliance with Blue, Misty and Sabrina.
 • Surge and Janine were later added to this alliance, although I didn't particularly like either of them.
 • I also had a solid relationship (and alliances) with Giovanni, Brock and Red.

 • In the third round, Sabrina suggested we boot Surge, and we approached Misty and Blue with the idea. Their reasoning for keeping Surge up until that point was that he would be loyal and easy to keep in line as long as he felt comfortable. Neither had ever stressed that they were particularly attached to him, so I didn't think it would be a big deal.
 • Booting Surge would also save Red, someone who had declared that he would be loyal to me for the rest of the game.
 • Unfortunately, Misty was much more tightly aligned with Surge than she was me. Only Sabrina and Red voted with me for Surge, and I was sent to the Stadium.
 • Getting voted out of Kanto was a big wake-up call. It helped me to fully embrace the 'Arena' format of the game, and I became more willing to take risks. I decided to try my luck on Johto, thinking that even if I did get voted out from their tribe immediately, I could potentially build some relationships that would come in handy at the merge. I quickly found allies in Bugsy, Morty and Whitney, and while I couldn't find a way to work with Bugsy in the merge, Morty later became a valued ally who helped me immensely in the latter half of the game.
 • When I rejoined Kanto, I managed to integrate myself back into a solid positon on the tribe. I reconnected with Sabrina, Blue and Misty, and made amends with Surge.

Strategic Game

I don't think either of the other two finalists can claim to have played a better strategic game than me. While in the pre-merge phase of the game I was happy to let Misty take the lead and make a target of herself, I was a voice in the decision making process on Kanto. In the merge, however, I made quite a few moves to increase my odds of making the end, some of which I'm not sure most people are aware of.

In Round 12, I had a feeling that Sabrina was going to be send to the Stadium. She wasn't worried however, and was comfortable following Misty's plan of splitting the votes between Surge and Janine. Low and behold, at the last second Misty decided to save Surge and target Sabrina. I knew that Blue had pre-voted for Surge, and that Sabrina had pre-voted for Janine. Misty and Surge were going to be voting for Sabrina. The only vote I didn't know about was Janine's, since she hadn't been online since the night before. I thought there was a good chance that she had been told to vote for ME, since Misty had mentioned she was telling Surge the plan was to split between Sabrina and I.

I immediately hatched a plan, bringing in Morty and suggesting that he and I put a vote on each of Surge and Janine. If if turned out Janine did vote for me, the result would have been a split vote of 2-2-2-1 between Sabrina, Surge and Janine, and only Morty, Misty, Blue and myself would be eligible for the re-vote. Since I knew that Blue wasn't able to be there for the night, his vote would stay locked on Surge, so Morty and I would be able to vote for Janine and send her and Surge to the duel. Everything hinged on how Janine had voted, and I thought it was definitely worth a shot.

Unfortunately, Janine had voted for Sabrina and so she and Janine were sent to the duel. While my plan didn't work, I don't think the strategy behind the move should be ignored.

~

In Round 13, I thought it was time to make my move against Misty. While Blue and I had spoken about voting her out at the Final 4, I thought that was far too late and incredibly risky since she was almost guaranteed to win if she made the Final 3.

Misty's plan that night was to split the vote between Surge and Sabrina. Myself and Blue were meant to vote for Surge, while she, Surge and Morty voted for Sabrina.

I approached Surge with a plan. I told him that Misty had actually been targeting him the round before, and that she needed to go. I told him that he and I were each other's best chances to win in the end, since he had made a few enemies while I was probably viewed as a bit of a kiss-ass who hadn't distinguished his game from Sabrina/Blue/Misty. I made a F2 deal with Surge. I didn't have much of a relationship with Surge so this was my way of making him trust me. I was open to going to the end with Surge, but at that point my ideal F3 was still myself/Sabrina/Blue.

Surge thought the plan was to split the vote between Misty and Blue. Blue and Misty thought the plan was to split the vote between Surge and Sabrina. I can't begin to describe how crazy this round was. Everybody else thought different things were going to happen and saying the wrong thing to someone could have ruined everything.

When Blue found out that Misty had once again gone back on her word and saved Surge at the last second, he was angry and suggested taking her out that night instead of Surge. Unfortunately he wanted the vote to be split between Misty and Sabrina. This wasn't an option to me; Sabrina was my most trusted ally in the game at that point, and I wanted to go to the end with her. I decided to let Blue follow Misty's plan rather than fill him in on my own. This was probably a bad decision, because I lost a lot trust with Blue after this, but at the time I honestly thought it was the safest choice.

At Tribal Council, the plan worked and Misty and Surge headed to the Stadium. I knew this move would piss people off, but I also thought it was the best move I could have made to get myself to the end with Sabrina.

Social and Strategic Game

Socially I think I had my ups and downs, and there were certainly some people that I didn't try as hard as I should have to make connections with. I did make some very real bonds with many of you, though. On the Kanto tribe, Blue and Sabrina in particular were my closest allies, and Brock and Red were people I would have really liked to see make the merge. Over on the Johto tribe I quickly established relationships with Pryce, Bugsy, Whitney and Morty in particular. Should I have stayed on that tribe I would have definitely stayed true to those alliances, but once I returned to Kanto my prospects of making the end were far better with them, especially since we had the majority at the merge.

I don't think either of the other two finalists can claim to have played a better strategic game than me, however. While in the pre-merge phase I was happy to let Misty take the lead and paint a target on herself, I was still a loud voice in the decision making process on Kanto. Apart from the round where Misty seized control to save Surge at my expense, I was aware of every other vote, and managed to re-integrate quickly back into a solid position upon my return.

For the first few rounds of the merge, I did continue to go with the flow and stay UTR. I couldn't find a way to work with Pryce, and I never really had much of a relationship with Chuck, so I was fine with him going. Bugsy was an unfortunate sacrifice, but saving him would have only made my road to the F3 harder. After these few boots, I really started to take my game up a notch, however. I made quite a few moves to increase my odds of making the end, some of which I'm not sure most people are aware of.

I guess the first thing of note is positioning. I was always in a great 'middle' spot of the Kanto alliance, and because of that I knew I'd be able to make my move against the higher ups when the time was right. I said what I needed to keep the target off my back for as long as possible in the merge, and was only voted out at F5 because Blue thought he could beat me in the duel.

In Round 12, I had a feeling that Sabrina was going to be sent to the Stadium.
 • When I rejoined Kanto, I managed to integrate myself back into a solid position on the tribe. I reconnected with Sabrina, Blue and Misty, and made amends with Surge.
 • I rode out the rest of the pre-merge and made it to the merge, which I'll address in detail below.
Social and Strategic Game

Socially I think I had my ups and downs, and there were certainly some people that I didn't try as hard as I should have to make connections with. I did make some very real bonds with many of you, though. On the Kanto tribe, Blue, Misty and Sabrina were my closest allies, and Brock and Red were people I would have really liked to see make the merge. Despite what happened in the game, I do love the three of you and am looking forward to catching up after this is all over! On the Johto tribe I quickly established relationships with Pryce, Bugsy, Whitney and Morty in particular.

I had a different plan. I wanted to send Misty to the Stadium with Surge, to ensure that she would go home. I knew I could have Morty and Sabrina vote for Misty. The only problem with the plan was that I would NEEDED Surge on my side for it to work...and he and I had never really gotten along.

I approached Surge with a plan to split the vote between Misty and Blue, because I knew he would want to split those two up. I told him that Misty had actually been targeting him the round before, and that she needed to go because she was such a threat. I made a F2 deal with Surge that night, to hopefully strengthen his trust in me, and he agreed to vote for Blue. He was literally giddy with excitement at the idea of making this move, all the while completely unaware that I was actually targeting him.

When Blue found out that Misty had once again gone back on her word and saved Surge at the last second, he was very angry, and suggested taking her out that night instead of Surge. Unfortunately he wanted the vote to be split between Misty and Sabrina. This wasn't an option for me; Sabrina was my most trusted ally in the game at that point, and I wanted to go to the end with her. I decided to let Blue follow Misty's plan rather than fill him in on my own. I still think keeping Blue in the dark was the safest decision; even if he was willing to boot Misty, strong-arming him into keeping Sabrina would not have gone down well.

At Tribal Council, the plan worked and Misty and Surge headed to the Stadium. I knew this move would piss people off, but I also thought it was the best move I could have made to get myself to the end with Sabrina.

~

I think I deserve your vote tonight because I played a very solid all-round game. I was social enough to make connections and alliances with people, without making myself a target because of it. I made several important strategic moves that shaped the merge. I won the duels that I had to. I got myself to the finals. Did I control the game? Fuck no, it was far too crazy for that. I do think I played a better game than either of the two people sitting next to me, though.

Hey everyone,

First things first, I want to thank the hosts, the players and everyone that has been involved in this game for all the work and dedication put in over the last few weeks. It's been the craziest and most intense game I've ever been a part of, so I'm proud that I managed to make it all the way to the F3.

Come at me!

One more thing before I get started: I know I lied to people a lot in this game. I know I worked people over and may have seemed disingenuous because of it. I didn't do any of this to be an asshole, I only ever lied or withheld information if it had a purpose, which was to get myself and Sabrina to the end of this game.

 • Unfortunately, Misty was much more tightly aligned with Surge than she was me. Only Sabrina and Red voted with me for Surge, and I was sent to the Stadium.

I've gotta rock this FTC. I think Surge has Misty and Janine locked down, but I might be able to get Blue.

I think I can win over Morty/Bugsy/Pryce/Brock as well.

Excited! :<3

Well, I'd like to say fuck Misty for her bullshit speech. She's deliberately trying to trash me and make Surge look better, and it's the most slanted version of events ever. I lost a LOT of respect for her after seeing that.

At least this will give me some experience in FTC's. I don't think I'm doing too badly for my first time. The problem is that certain votes are locked, and nothing I say is going to change that.

I'd like to add that's its been pretty obvious for a while now who Misty is, so the fact that she overreacted when I mentioned his name and bombed her game multiple times for Surge isn't at all surprising.

Like, yeah I didn't have control pre-merge, but considering how tight you were I don't see how that could have gone down any other way. Going against Misty/Surge would always bite you in the ass.
