Blaine, Lt Surge & Sabrina you have defeated 17 other Pokémon Trainers to reach this stage of the 1st Pokémon World Tournament. There will be no more battles & no more eliminations. Over the next 24 hours the three of you will plead your case to the jurors, aiming to prove why you deserve to be the first ever Pokémon World Tournament Champion & enter the Hall of Fame. These proceedings will commence with each of you posting an opening statement. Arrangements have been made for myself to post statements should you not be here on time. The eight jurors will then begin the question & answer process, or they may decide leaving a statement alone is sufficient. The deadline for jury votes is 10pm Thursday Night. At that point the Champion shall be crowned & the Cast Reveal will occur. Good luck! |

![]() Hey everyone, First things first, I want to thank the hosts, the players and everyone that has been involved in this game for all the work and dedication put in over the last few weeks. It's been the craziest and most intense game I've ever been a part of, so I'm proud that I managed to make it all the way to the F3. It's definitely one to remember. ![]() I've tried to condense this as much as possible, but it's still pretty long and I apologise for that. I can't help but write a lot! If you guys have any questions or want me to expand on anything, I'm ready for it. I know I might have a hard time getting a few people's votes tonight, but I'm going to be honest and give it everything I've got. Come at me! One more thing before I get started: I know I lied to people a lot in this game. I know I worked people over and may have seemed disingenuous because of it. I didn't do any of this to be an asshole, I only ever lied or withheld information if it had a purpose, which was to get myself and Sabrina to the end of this game. Game Summary
Socially I think I had my ups and downs. There were certainly some people that I didn't try as hard as I should have to make connections with, and I have a tendency to be gamebotty and boring at times. I did make some very real bonds with many of you, though. On the Kanto tribe, Blue, Misty and Sabrina were my closest allies, and Brock and Red were people I would have really liked to see make the merge. On the Johto tribe I quickly established relationships with Pryce, Bugsy, Whitney and Morty in particular. Should I have stayed on that tribe I would have definitely stayed true to those alliances, but once I returned to Kanto my prospects of making the end were far better with them, especially since we had the majority at the merge. I don't think either of the other two finalists can claim to have played a better strategic game than me, however. While in the pre-merge phase I was happy to let Misty take the lead and paint a target on herself, I was still a loud voice in the decision making process on Kanto. Apart from the round where Misty seized control to save Surge at my expense, I was aware of every other vote, and managed to re-integrate quickly back into a solid position upon my return. For the first few rounds of the merge, I did continue to go with the flow and stay UTR. I couldn't find a way to work with Pryce, and I never really had much of a relationship with Chuck, so I was fine with him going. Bugsy was an unfortunate sacrifice, but saving him would have only made my road to the F3 harder. After these few boots, I really started to take my game up a notch, however. I made quite a few moves to increase my odds of making the end, some of which I'm not sure most people are aware of. I guess the first thing of note is positioning. I was always in a great 'middle' spot of the Kanto alliance, and because of that I knew I'd be able to make my move against the higher ups when the time was right. I said what I needed to keep the target off my back for as long as possible in the merge, and was only voted out at F5 because Blue thought he could beat me in the duel. In Round 12, I had a feeling that Sabrina was going to be sent to the Stadium. She wasn't worried however, and was comfortable following Misty's plan of splitting the votes between Surge and Janine. Low and behold, at the last second Misty decided to save Surge and target Sabrina. I knew that Blue had pre-voted for Surge, and that Sabrina had pre-voted for Janine. Misty and Surge were going to be voting for Sabrina. The only vote I didn't know about was Janine's, since she hadn't been online since the night before. I thought there was a good chance that she had been told to vote for ME, since Misty had mentioned she was telling Surge the plan was to split between Sabrina and I. I immediately hatched a plan, bringing in Morty and suggesting that he and I put a vote on each of Surge and Janine. If if turned out Janine did vote for me, the result would have been a split vote of 2-2-2-1 between Sabrina, Surge and Janine, and only Morty, Misty, Blue and myself would be eligible for the re-vote. Since I knew that Blue wasn't able to be there for the night, his vote would stay locked on Surge, so Morty and I would be able to vote for Janine and send her and Surge to the duel. Everything hinged on how Janine had voted, and I thought it was definitely worth a shot. Unfortunately, Janine had voted for Sabrina and so she and Janine were sent to the duel. While my plan didn't work, I don't think the strategy behind the move should be ignored. ~ In Round 13, I thought it was time to make my move against Misty. While Blue and I had spoken about voting her out at the Final 4, I thought that was far too late and incredibly risky since she was almost guaranteed to win if she made the Final 3. Misty's plan that night was to split the vote between Surge and Sabrina. Myself and Blue were meant to vote for Surge, while she, Surge and Morty voted for Sabrina. I had a different plan. I wanted to send Misty to the Stadium with Surge, to ensure that she would go home. I knew I could have Morty and Sabrina vote for Misty. The only problem with the plan was that I would NEEDED Surge on my side for it to work...and he and I had never really gotten along. I approached Surge with a plan to split the vote between Misty and Blue, because I knew he would want to split those two up. I told him that Misty had actually been targeting him the round before, and that she needed to go because she was such a threat. I made a F2 deal with Surge that night, to hopefully strengthen his trust in me, and he agreed to vote for Blue. He was literally giddy with excitement at the idea of making this move, all the while completely unaware that I was actually targeting him. When Blue found out that Misty had once again gone back on her word and saved Surge at the last second, he was very angry, and suggested taking her out that night instead of Surge. Unfortunately he wanted the vote to be split between Misty and Sabrina. This wasn't an option for me; Sabrina was my most trusted ally in the game at that point, and I wanted to go to the end with her. I decided to let Blue follow Misty's plan rather than fill him in on my own. I still think keeping Blue in the dark was the safest decision; even if he was willing to boot Misty, strong-arming him into keeping Sabrina would not have gone down well. At Tribal Council, the plan worked and Misty and Surge headed to the Stadium. I knew this move would piss people off, but I also thought it was the best move I could have made to get myself to the end with Sabrina. ~ I think I deserve your vote tonight because I played a very solid all-round game. I was social enough to make connections and alliances with people, without making myself a target because of it. I made important strategic moves that shaped the merge. I won the duels that I had to. I got myself to the finals. Did I control the game? Fuck no, it was far too crazy for that. I do think I played a better game than either of the two people sitting next to me, though. |

![]() Hey y'all, so lets get this shit started. I'm gonna keep this short-ish because seriously, last thing we need is a play by play of what happened during this game because it would last forever. Every round there was a new plan in motion and it was absolutely insane, so I'm gonna let you guys ask questions about that stuff. Coming into this game I knew I wanted to play balls out and not hold back. I knew that I was more than competent in the challenge department, and for that reason I wanted to play a big game and be outspoken and strong, because had it bit me in the ass and the others turned on me I still would've had a chance of saving myself in the Arena, something that doesn't happen in a regular Survivor game. Fortunately, I found people who appreciated my character and what I was bringing to this game, and I managed to create some very solid bonds early on in Kanto and later with Morty, Falkner (gross) and got also very close to Jasmine during her short stint in the Arena. These relationships paid off time and time again, as not only was I the only one to ALWAYS vote in the majority on original Kanto but they kept me safe during rounds where potentially my ass was in danger (the final 7 round comes to mind, when Misty clued me into the plan of sending myself and Janine in the Arena, and we managed to not let that happen). I am expecting a lot of you to blast me for my overly aggressive attitude and demeanor, and while I did behave this way to entertain myself and spice things up, it also served its purpose strategy-wise. During the team stage of the game, my rivalry with numerous members of Johto made me get a whole lot closer to the people on Kanto who probably believed that there was no shot in hell I'd work with the people I ostracized (and while this was true with Bugsy and Whitney, I still always tried to keep my options open). As the merge came around, I knew my name would be up for elimination time and time again, so I decided to go all-in, and use my "intimidating" persona to further my own game. At f10, when I was supposed to face Pryce in the Arena, I sent him a PM telling him how strong I was in comps and how he'd have no shot at winning against me, and in a matter of minutes he was scrambling to choose another target. Unfortunately, Bugsy and Chuck weren't online, but I nearly got to save myself. I also decided to use my challenge skills to my advantage, and instead of hiding them and hope for the best, I let everyone know how strong and quick I was at them, even though I really do suck at some of them (avi challenge.. *I shudder*). I think this proved to work out quite well, and out of this final 3, I was the one who was sent in the Arena the least, and both time I was sent in it was against people who were.. not really the best at comps (sorry Misty and Pryce lul). Yes, overall I was a bastard, and I'm expecting a lot of you guys to give me a taste of my own medicine, but I played the game bold, I was out there, and I never hid behind anyone. I know it's rare for a personality like mine to win in ORGs, and I get it, it's not easy to see behind the "asshole", but I do believe I've added so much to this game and I've played it quite well. So yeah, I'm here and ready to face you guys. Bring it AWN. |

Hey guys! It’s nice to see you all again (yes, even you Janine :P). I’ll start by doing the obvious but extremely necessary thing and thank every single one of you first. The past three weeks have been such an amazing journey and you’ve all played a significant part in getting me to where I am now and providing much fun and stress along the way. Without you guys, there is no game, and that pretty much sums it up. I probably wouldn’t bother turning up if I didn’t feel this, but I strongly believe I deserve your vote tonight, and I look forward to trying to prove to you why this is the case. At the start of the game my first major alliance was with Blaine, Misty and Blue. This was extended to a strong 6 with Surge and Janine as we identified ourselves as the six most active players and we bonded quite easily from the start. This was supposed to take us all the way to the merge without too many hassles, but of course, that would end up being far too simple for a crazy Kanto tribe. Neither Blaine nor I were particularly close with Surge or Janine within our core 6, but while I was prepared to wait until an opportune moment to strike, Blaine took it upon himself to try and stronghold his position with Blue and Misty and try to force them to take out one of their own. While I too was seeking the same outcome, I was aware enough to notice the close connection Misty and Blue had with them and knew they weren’t going to back down without a fight, while Blaine was hot headed while pushing his case, which eventually got him voted out. As a result of this, he was able to move to Johto where he made some bonds with some of you on the jury, before being voted out yet again a couple of rounds later. In my opinion, being voted out twice pre merge, and as a direct consequence, is not deserving of the title. By contrast, I was able to make bonds with every single person on my tribe, but was never so brash to put a huge target on my back, and I believe whoever I merged with, I would have been safe. My biggest move pre-merge was when I was able to take out my biggest rival in Janine. I became aware of her trying to target me but I was able to convince every single person on my tribe and get the vote to turn around on her. I wasn’t over the top with trying to force people to do what I want, but I spoke rationally and logically and the results came. I don’t believe anyone else in this F3 can say they achieved this same feat in staring down the barrel of a sure elimination and turn it around on the person they were targeting. Post merge is where I made the biggest mistake of the game. I still knew Janine and I would never be going to the end together and she would target me eventually, more than likely first out of the Kanto group. So I decided to take her out before she had the chance. At the split vote between Chuck and Bugsy, I flipped my vote to Chuck and told Morty to vote for Janine, which he did. This SHOULD have worked but my only mistake was not making absolutely sure Chuck has his vote for Janine, so for that I take responsibility. However, I was able to recover, and I took out the challenge threat Chuck myself and then my biggest rival Janine in duels. I then was able to turn the vote on Misty, who had voted for me on the previous occasions and was the biggest jury threat of the game, and Surge, a strong challenge competitor to beat her. After that, I was able to take out Blue, another jury threat, and then Morty, who would underestimate my challenge abilities and choose to take me on in the final duel, a gruelling eight-stage relay of past duels. He was certainly the favourite to win if he made the end but I was the one to stop him in his tracks and earn myself a position in this Final 3. Oh, I suppose I should touch on my other opponent who sits beside me tonight. Let's face it, we only brought Surge here because he treated most of you like shit the whole game, really without the game play to back it up. He was so obnoxious he was the prime target of Johto at the merge, dispute being a big challenge that  He obviously doesn't deserve your vote tonight. I have probably droned on more than I would have liked but I feel this is all important to show you guys why I deserve to win. There is a lot more still to say but I’ll leave that to all your questions, which I am very excited to start answering

Hello guys. Congratulations on being the Final 3 of that crazy crazy game. All of you 3 deserve it big time. My questions/comments will be very easy. I will adress each of you individually with my own comment and a question and then ask a question for all 3 of you. Sabrina :<3. I Freaking love you and you know it probably :wub. In the premerge, you and I made the exact same move and you never got blood on you hands. I think everyone should gave you HUGE props for that. I was the villain and you were standing there very safe. My vote isnt looked yet, So I have 3 question for you. Did you lied to me in this game. If you did when?. Why should I vote for you over Blaine? How instrumental was I in your pre merge game?Blaine: . You are a star also. You are a real come back kid. I didnt know where you would stand by switching Kanto and Johto, but it worked for you. I have exactly the same question to you. Did you lied to me in this game. If you did when?. Why should I vote for you over Sabrina? How instrumental was I in your gameSurge: If i was in the F3 and you on the jury. You would have probably insulted me. But I won't do it. I gotta say you have very low chance to get my vote tonight. But you are not a goat in this game. You got a high opinion from some peopel in the jury and you can win this game. My question to you is simple. You insulted all Johto members and me personnally in this game. Why the people you insulted should vote for you to win the game? (you may develop what you said before) Would you have betrayed me if I didnt screw up and stayed loyal to you? -------------- Now a question for all 3 of you (it is a fun one) Since the theme of this game was Pokemon. A pokemon question is really fitting. Compare every member of the jury to a Pokemon and explain why. ------- Good luck again. I proably won't comment your answers since i'm off to class now

Brock ![]() I think the best part of our relationship was nobody knew how tight we actually were. Most people think you were tightest with Blaine, Surge even told he today he expects your vote is locked to him, but I know this isn't the case ![]() You were incredibly instrumental to my pre-merge game. I knew I could always bounce my ideas of you and you would respond honestly with me, and I could always count on your vote. If we had made the merge together I definitely would have wanted to take you all the way to the end as you were one of the people I trusted most. I don't think I ever lied to you but I maybe didn't let on just how screwed you were in the last round before the merge I knew you had pissed off Surge and were likely going to get lots of votes, so I wanted to distance myself from you as I still needed to work with Surge, Janine, Misty and Blue post merge. In a personal sense, I think I deserve your vote over Blaine simple because of the stronger bond we had. I feel like our relationship was stronger than you ever had with Blaine. Other than that, I felt the risks I took in this game were more clever thought out than Blaine. Since it's your question, I'll talk about when you were in the game. I've mentioned it in my opening, but Blaine's biggest move was to target Surge at the 3rd vote. Look where that got him... blindsided and voted out. My biggest pre merge move was targeting Janine when I knew she wanted me gone. Unlike Blaine, I did it in such a way that every single person turned on her, even her closest ally in Surge. Now for the Pokemon comparisons  Brock: Geodude - you were my rock in the pre merge Pryce: Cubone - clever but quiet. The time I spent with him he seemed slightly hidden and I couldn't see the full Pryce Bugsy: Beedrill - it had to be a bug  but Beedrill doesn't give a fuck what you think and will attack the shit out of you if you cross him Chuck: Machamp - huge fighting machine Janine: Ekans - I felt she was always slithering around, and was waiting for an opportune time to pounce on me Misty: Jigglypuff - the social butterfly that everyone adored Blue: Eevee - everyone's friend and I could never quite tell what move he'd make and what he'd evolve into next. Morty: Pikachu - the underdog story that everyone loved. Probably the protagonist of the post merge |

No dude, I never lied to you. I always told you who I wanted to target each round, and even told you when you were about to be voted out! Unfortunately there was nothing I could do to save you that round...even if Sabrina and I had voted with you it wouldn't have made a difference. ![]() I trusted you, even after the time you voted me out, and when I got back to Kanto I was glad we were able to get back together. As for how instrumental you were for my game...well if you had sided with Surge when I got back to Kanto, I would likely have been in trouble. You choosing me probably helped me survive the pre-merge. I do wish you could have made the merge with Sabrina and I, because I know you would have had our backs and probably would have made it a bit easier! Now for the Pokemon: Brock: Pryce: Chuck: Bugsy: ![]() Janine: Misty: Blue: Morty: Sabrina: Surge: |

Oops, missed this! I think you should vote for me over Sabrina because I have played a better game than her. I'm not sure if you were closer with Sabrina than you were me, but I think we were pretty tight!Sabrina says my biggest move in the game pre-merge was to target Surge and get voted out? I think it would have been to be the only person to take advantage of the Arena format to build relationships with people on both tribes. I am the only person in the game who went to both tribes and survived until the merge (apart from Falkner, but he's a cheater!). After the merge, it was my plans that got the two of us to the end, not hers. |

Pokemon League Champion
|
Hey guys, congrats on making it to the end of this wild game! Don't let it get to your head though, I'm still the only Pokemon League Champion here which means I'm better than all of you losers. I played pretty closely with all 3 of you during this so I think I have quite a bit of insight in to how you all played the game. I do have some idea about how I'm going to vote but I'm still undecided so I'm very interested in what you all have to say. Blaine, you were my first ally in this game and great fun to play with, but you kiss a lot of ass and it sometimes comes across as disingenuous to me. What I want from you tonight is some realness so please tell me 1 thing you like and 1 thing you dislike about every player in the game other than yourself. Feel free to exclude the people you never interacted with. Sabrina, I like you a lot and you were always pleasant to speak with, but strategically I don't think you asserted yourself very much. Could you please tell me why you cast every vote that you cast and how it bettered your position in the game? You don't have to write much, I just want to hear your thoughts throughout the game. Surge, I seriously love you dude and you are a huge part of why this game was so much fun for me. I always knew you would make F3 and not because you are a goat but because you are a fantastic player who worked his ass off to get here. All I want to know from you is what your long-term plans were if Misty and I hadn't turned on you at F7. I know it's hard to say because shit changed daily in this game, but just a rough description is fine. And one final question for all 3 of you! Please rank the 3 of you as well as the Kanto members on the jury (Brock, Misty, Janine & myself) from 1 to 7 on how much control you think they had over the Kanto tribe pre-merge. That's all from me so congrats once again & may the best Pokemon Master win!
