When you finally reach the pokemon, you see a Cottonee is there too, and three humans, the man and boy from earlier, as well as a girl about 15, all tied up and guarded by two Spearow. The man then calls out to you, "These Spearows are angered we crossed onto their land chasing after our fleeing starters, please, pick a pokemon and fight them." Suddenly, your friend Gilbert races up in front of you, "I'll help!" Gilbert called, instantly diving at the spearows, who proceeded to peck him repeatedly. ".........Maybe we should pick out a pokemon." Gilbert says after crawling back to you, motioning towards the three pokemon.

Back on the topic of the pokedex," the Professor then proceeds to hang you a medium sized red pokedex. The entire time the Professor's son was giving you glances.
