I see you finished 2'nd, 6'th and 59'th in the 3 DBP's yesterday. Care to elaborate. Sorry you didn't win but great performances.

Wins one bloody tournament and already starts talking condescendingly to people....sheesh.

Great job Monk....I should have stuck around.....how did you do in the 8 o'clock one and did you meet Fins along the way?
Maybe that turns you on, morons; maybe that's how y'get your kicks. You and your good-time buddies.

If that was my goal to be condescending then I can at least say I learned that from the best...thanks for your teachings stock.

Seriously Monk....don't listen to the living odor over there...he has one foot in the box already. Just curious how the tourneys went and what happened at the end. So close to placing in all 3. I'm sure others have done that but I don't recall hearing about them. Plus I've never done 2 final tables in a DBP in 1 day. My best is 2'nd as well and I know how painful that was considering I had the chip lead. One day I'll get those friggin' cards that stock is always complaining about never getting.

I never said I didn't get cards. I said AJ still owes me 6 decks. I want to complete my house of cards......I had to stop on the 103rd floor.

The 6 decks are from that great week and truly Fizz owes me two decks for that week as well, now that was a good week.

I think the best one day DBP playing I ever saw here was LS. She won back to back. Like back to back no hitters, I don't think it will ever be equaled. (I think ADK has taken credit for that day, claiming he taught LS how to play poker....lol).

Anyhoots......I know for a fact that for you to feel any comfort to win in a tournament, you hope I am long gone by the time it gets down to the wire.

The first one was similiar to yours Rock short stack near the bubble had to all in a couple of times and survive coin flips. Then I got on roll and was flopping everything and anything, was chip leader as I took out the 3rd place guy. Flopped 2 pair and doubled the eventual winner because he hit his pocket pair. Few hands later and wife a tori just got home had chance with what I thought was a coin flip A7 suited vs 66 (66s were hot saw them quad 3 times - and were my bubble savior). The 8pm was not paying much attention trying to score in the poker leagues - no luck looked down at my dbp stack and was quite healthy played only about 20% of the hands but won most I was in cruised into FT - 11 dbp had started. Had a couple of hands that looked good and almost hit but just bleed my chips away Finally pressed my luck with AK and was taken out by garbage but he almost had to call. While concentrating on the 8 pm created big stack playing recklessly - no way I could stay up to 2 already played 3 plus in the afternoon and since 745 that evening. Already had points - more than I can use so I said lets try the bubble trick of Bullmers - got real aggressive as bubbles started appoaching ran into some quality hands and out - if I played same style as 2 and 8 would have coasted into top 40 and grinded toward the 20 line - but my goal was different and only got 144 points during the evening - 3rd in mtt 69 also :D
