This is my house in the OBX (Outer Banks, NC) this year again. It's the one on the bottom + the pier.

We have stayed in this house the past 4 years. It is in Salvo/Waves. It is the one vacation look forward to. I can't wait for the wife to finish her RN so we can move down there.

Catching the charter out of OI (boats name is Sea Era) the captin of the boat is also the boat builder Doug Johnson. We also catch keeper blues and spec's off of the pier at the house. We don't stay ocean front cause normally I take a boat and dock it behind the house. You should try a sound side house one year well worth it.

What boat did you go out on? I normally fish from the catwalks on the Bonner Bridge as well.

The first year we went of The Carolinian. It was a nice boat, but we had to do the walk of shame, as we only caught 4 tuna and 3 dolphin. All the other boats seemed to have caught the limit on both. Every year since, we have used Pelican. Arch Bracher (http://www.fishthepelican.com/about.htm) is one of the best bill fishermen in the country. We have had some great catches with his boat, and this year I caught a white marlin.

I will have to look into a house on the sound for next year.

I tried to upload a photo of my marlin flag, but it says I can't load a file of this type (UGH)

I have another idea though - hang on.
