Northville Police Search For Missing Man

NORTHVILLE, Mich. - Northville Police are looking for a missing man who suffers from pre-dementia. Ed Jamieson was last seen around 11 a.m. Monday. His family said he left his home on the 41000 block of Ladywood Street, to go for a walk near the area of 5 Mile and Northville roads.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Northville Township Police Department at 248-349-9400.

Missing Northville man with Alzheimer's found

NORTHVILLE -- Police have found the 72-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer's disease who did not return home from his daily walk Monday.

Police said Edward Charles Jamieson was found in a wooded area about a mile from his home in the area of Five Mile near Haggerty. Jamieson, who was found at about 2:30 p.m. on the former Northville Psychiatric Hospital property, was conscious, alert and had minor injuries.
