JOHN DOE # 86-19 / CASE # 86-903 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On August 29, 1986, at approximately 2150 hours, a pedestrian was hit by a train on the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks just north of the Santa Clara County line in Menlo Park. The remains were found by a passerby and there were no witnesses to the event. The remains bore no identification. Found near the decedent was a pair of sunglasses. DESCRIPTION OF REMAINS: Sex: Male. Race: Hispanic. Age: Approximately 30 - 35 years. Eyes: Brown. Hair: Straight, Black. Facial Hair: Wide Sideburns, Pencil-Thin Mustache. Height: Approximately 5' 09". Weight: 154 lbs. CLOTHING: Olive-drab, military-type short-sleeved shirt. Denim pants. White and green belt with yellow, rectangular buckle. "Brut" multicolored undergarments. "Trax" black/white shoes. Camouflage peaked cap. Jewelry: None. Distinguishing marks or tattoos: Pale 3/4" scar, right knee. Fingerprints.
