Unidentified White/Hispanic Male The victim was discovered on June 20, 1983 in Bloomington, San Bernardino County, California Estimated Date of Death: June 20, 1983 Estimated age: 15-20 years old Approximate Height and Weight: 71"; 146 lbs. Distinguishing Characteristics: Dark brown hair; brown eyes. Scar on hand, nonspecific. Scar on right arm, scar on right shoulder. Dentals: Available. Tooth 17 impacted mesially. Clothing: Blue jeans; black belt with "Harley Davidson" Logo with skull and wings. White shirt with apple and silhouette of NYC. Black desert, loafer type boots. Fingerprints: Available DNA: Pending The victim was located dead of gunshot wounds on June 20, 1983 in a gondola car at the Southern Pacific Railroad yards in Bloomington, CA. Documentation found on the body (a pay stub) indicated that the victim’s name may have been “Ernesto Carrillo Aguilar” with a DOB: 06/24/63. However, the identity could never be confirmed. Identity may be established by fingerprints, dental X-rays, and DNA (CA DOJ reference #BK-09-000693). Date Found: Jun 20, 1983 Location Found: Bloomington, CA Estimated Age: 15-17 Sex: Male Race: Hispanic Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Brown Estimated Height: 5'11" Estimated Weight: 146 lbs On June 20, 1983, the body of an unidentified male was discovered in a gondola car at the Southern Pacific Railroad yards in Bloomington, California. Based on the condition of the body, he was believed to have been deceased less than 24 hours at time of discovery. He is believed to have been in his mid-late teenage years. He had straight and dark brown hair, and he had scars on his hand, right arm, and right shoulder. He was found wearing blue jean with a black belt featuring a gold buckle skull with wings (“HARLEY DAVIDSON” brand), a white shirt with an apple and silhouette of New York City displayed, and black desert loafer-style boots. The decedent may have gone by the alias “Ernesto Carrillo Aguilar”. The reconstruction featured above is an artist’s rendering of what the John Doe may have looked like.
