Race changed 11/18/10 from White to Black/African American due to antrho report which in part states; "These are the cranial remains of an adult male 35-55 years of age at death, and of African-American or African ancestry. The cranium was found seven years ago by a commercial fishing trawler several miles offshore from Bethany Beach, Delaware. The incisors and right canine are missing postmortem from the maxilla. No other remains were recovered. There is no evidence of perimortem trauma or antemortem pathology. Exfoliation, degradation, and erosion suggest a broad postmortem interval of 1-5 years, based on a general comparison to other marine cases. A longer postmortem interval under more complex taphonomic conditions cannot be ruled out."
