http://www.947thebrew.com/pages/BREW_LOCAL...rticle=10377853 OSBI asks for public's help identifying man. The Medical Examiner's office is hoping someone might be able to identify a man whose body was found in Johnston County, more than ten years ago. A body was found in July 2002, and at that time investigators though it was that of a teenage Hispanic male. No positive identification was made. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said recently, an employee at the State Medical Examiner's office looked at the case again and determined the deceased was a middle-aged Hispanic man of slight build. The man was wearing Levi jeans with a 28" waist and 32" inseam. He was wearing Adidas shoes, size 6 1/2. The Office of the State Medical Examiner requested OSBI Forensic Artist Harvey Pratt to reconstruct the skull found in Johnston County July 8, 2002. If the face pictured looks similar to someone who has not been seen or heard from for at least 10 years, please contact the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017. OSBI Tries To Identify Man Who Died Under Mysterious Circumstances Posted: Aug 28, 2012 2:07 PM EDT Updated: Aug 28, 2012 2:07 PM EDT By LaShauna Sewell, News9.com - email A forensic artist created a reconstruction of a man who died in 2002. His body was found in Johnston County. OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is hoping an artist's reconstruction of a victim's face will help identify a man who died a decade ago. Someone found a man's body in Johnston County in July 2002. At the time, investigators believed the body was that of a teenage Hispanic male. The state medical examiner was unable to determine a cause of death, and no missing persons reports in the area matched the victim. OSBI agents followed a few leads, but the case quickly turned cold. An employee in the medical examiner's office recently re-examined the case, and determined the body actually belonged to a middle-aged Hispanic male. He died approximately two months before his remains were discovered. The medical examiner was still unable to determine how he died. In an effort to identify the victim, OSBI forensic artist Harvey Pratt reconstructed the skull. OSBI has released photos of the new image with the hope someone will recognize him. At the time of his death, the man was wearing Levi's jeans size 28 W x 32 L, and size 6 ½ Adidas shoes. If you recognize the person in the reconstruction, contact OSBI at 1-800-522-8017. http://www.newson6.com/story/19397427/osbi...s-circumstances |
