Skull found near Olympia not the first Associated Press - March 11, 2008 12:05 PM ET OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - The discovery of a skull Sunday near Olympia is the second time in a year human bones have been found in the area. Another skull found in March of last year was never identified. The Thurston County sheriff's office is trying to identify the latest skull through dental records. It was found by a neighbor walking his dog. Detectives have searched the wooded area for any evidence that might help them make an identification. Lt. Chris Mealy says the death is being investigated as suspicious and not a homicide at this point. He says there's nothing to link the two sets of bones.
