Police Search for Man Missing Since Friday

Johnny Kincaid

Johnny Kincaid's family is convinced the missing man is a victim of violence.

Kincaid has been missing since Friday. After dropping off his wife at work, he never showed up to meet his brother at 27th and Mercer.

Kincaid and his brother Delbert scrap cars for money. And Delbert says when you have that much cash on hand, you're a target for violence.

"I believe he's dead right now and I want an answer," Delbert said.

Delbert and Kincaid's wife Melissa have been sleepless and searching for four days.

"We're gonna be married for four years in two days. And he has never been away from my side," Melissa said.

Kincaid was supposed to pick up Melissa from work and head to Arkansas to see their new granddaughter.

"I came down stairs at 5:00 and no John," she said.

He was also looking forward to getting custody of his oldest son in just a few months.

"I know he would never voluntarily leave his family. He's happier than I've seen him in a long time," neighbor Elaine Vaughn said.

Kincaid's former boss at Best Deal said he came around often to talk and help out even after moving onto another job. He describes him as a very dependable person and that's why both Delbert and Melissa believe Kincaid is a victim of foul play.

The family has been doing much of the searching themselves because they don't want him lost in the mass of missing persons cases.

He was last seen in a green 2002 Ford Windstar with Missouri tags 2BG-37B.
