Sheriff's department needs help finding missing man Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 3:15 pm By Rusty Marks Staff writer Gallery [+] Enlarge Stanley Ray Hammack CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Kanawha County sheriff's deputies need help finding a man missing from Sissonville since last week. Lt. Sean Crosier of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said family members called deputies on Wednesday because they were concerned about Stanley Ray Hammack, 48, of Kellys Creek, who has not been seen since last week. Hammack was last seen leaving his mother's home in Kellys Creek at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 28, Crosier said. Hammack said he was going to church, but never arrived. He was last seen wearing a pair of gray dress slacks and a black coat, Crosier said. Hammack was driving a white 2009 Toyota short bed pickup truck. Hammack is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 185 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call 304-357-0169. |

Wednesday, authorities received a call from family members of Stanley Ray Hammack, 48, of Kelly’s Creek in Sissonville regarding his well-being. Family members last saw Hammack when he left his mother’s residence on Kelly’s Creek on Dec. 28 around 4:30 p.m. Hammack said he was leaving for church however he did not attend church. He was last seen wearing a pair of grey dress slacks and black coat. He was driving a 2009 Toyota short bed truck, white in color. Hammack is described as a White Male, 5’10” 185 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He told his family he was going to church but they say he never made it there, Crosier said. The man was last seen wearing a pair of grey dress slacks and a black coat.
