On Tuesday, August 16, 2005 deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's station were contacted regarding a missing at-risk adult.

Deputies learned that Salvador Jimenez had recently moved into the area from Compton, and had been staying with friends. Mr. Jimenez is a 45-year-old mentally disabled adult, had walked away from the location.

Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area that utilized deputies, and air support. Deputies also distributed numerous flyers in the area, and to various public agencies, which might come into contact with Mr. Jimenez.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Investigator Madden at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff's Station (951) 955-2600.

Description: M/H/506/170/Bro/Bro - Mr. Jimenez has a full beard and is much thinner than when this picture was taken in July of 2004.

SYNOPSIS: Victim has a diminished mental capacity of a 3 year old and is unable to dress or feed himself. Victim left his residence. His whereabouts are currently unknown. He was last seen wearing blue Levis, a brown shirt, and brown zip up low cut boots.

Details of Disappearance
Jimenez was last seen at approximately 9.30 am on August 16, 2005 in the 5000 block of Martin Street in Mira Loma, California. He had recently moved into the area from Compton and had been staying with friends. He walked away from the location and has not been seen since. Despite extensive search of the area that utilized deputies and air support, no traces of him were found.
