Privateers sporting the grey/silver look today on the road. Pitino Jr appears enraged that Minnesota did not get out to a 100-0 lead in the first minute. |

UNO appears not to have been expecting pressure from a team coached by a Pitino. Will be really glad when these guarantee games are over. |

We're having a terrible time dealing with their pressure. The press, the half court trap, their extended 2-3 zone...lots of turnovers and ugly misses which mean a lot of fast break chances. The last few offensive possessions have been much better, resulting in a couple Dixon scores and a Hill dunk. This has allowed us to play half court defense, which hasn't been bad at all. Nice little stretch right there. |

UNO now going to the Butler strategy from last year, blatantly milking the clock before shooting... Gophers in a lull responding to it thus far. 21-12 Minny. |

Gophers got out of their lull, 36-15. Wondering where Nate Frye has been... don't think he's played yet today, 7 mins at Hawaii. Hmm. |

Alllllllllllll the turnovers. We've done a decent job limiting turnovers, especially considering the competition we've faced, but we're making up for it this afternoon. |

Turnovers indeed. 41-23 at half. Also, to have a chance in a game like this, you really can't miss open shots, and UNO has missed a few of those plus several free throws, but we are who we are. The Privateers can't shoot. Seeing some good things out there though, just not enough for a game like this. Again, hope we're being paid well. |

Heck of a run for the Privateers. 24 point deficit has been cut to 11 at the under 8 timeout. Derenbecker with a pair of big boy threes. Isaac Mack (or Isaiah, as the play by play guy keeps saying for some unknown reason) has played well. We've handled the pressure much better in the second half, and the limited turnovers means more half court defense. They look pretty solid here in the second half. Dare I say kinda good in the last six minutes. Encouraging. |

Of course, as we make it a game, every form of video has gone blank for me. Even wgso.com won't stream. This seems like a problem with my computer. Have the audio playing on my phone. Privateers down eight, 3:33 to play. |

Dare I say, quite good. An amazing second half effort. 69-61 at the under 4. |

Lost 80-65. Second half was probably our best half of the season. UNO actually played really well -- the LSU first half was more LSU missing a lot of shots, and we still didn't really stop anybody in the Boise second half. Encouraging. |
