Dunno what exactly they'll do but I think we'll have a new game time on Saturday due to Saints-Seahawks being at 3:30. I think they may need to start as early as 10:30 a.m. with the women's game. We'll see. Way to go Saints! |

Thinking the same thing or else they need to start the game later. The Saints game starts at 3:35 PM, so the game could last to 7:00 PM. |

I hope they come up with something fairly quickly.....but I have a saints party planned for noon or shortly after so I may be missing another home game. I guess I bought season tix too soon I'm sure UNO can use the money tho.

SLU moved their doubleheader on Saturday to 12:00/2:00 to avoid conflict, but that's really not early enough to avoid a conflict. That will probably carry on through about halftime of the Saints game. |

Cutting it a bit tight, but I'm glad to hear that they moved the games. |

Sigh. The men's game will NOT tip at 1. It'll be at least 1:15, likely a little bit later. If it's anywhere near 1:30, the men's game will run right into kickoff. Even if it ends before kickoff, I'll spend the whole first quarter driving home. Let's not even think about the possibility that the ladies game goes into overtime... |

Not perfect, but better than leaving the game times as is, or even SLU's 12/2 solution. Probably nobody that prioritizes the Saints is going to do anything UNO-related at any point during the day regardless -- this is more about making it possible for UNO diehards to also see the Saints. Imperfect solution but tricky timing as starting before 11 am would be awfully early. |

I applaud them for making the decision early but it won't help me so I'll miss another one and hope my donation is put to good use It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for what to me is a bigger event........and while I knew this game was scheduled before I had an idea the saints would be playing, I had hoped the playoffs would be on Sunday so, I rolled the dice and lost. But I hope to see a good game on thurs. |

That's what DVR's are for. Start watching a little later and you skip over the commercials. |

NO FRIGGIN WAY! ![]() I was a saints fan before I was anything UNO and if the last 3-4 years taught me anything, it's that I'm not going to put UNO before too many other things in my life anymore........I've been there, done that and I'm not going to go thru the pain I did a few years ago when I basically walked away. It's all gonna be baby steps for me for a while. I still want to see some 'promises' that our chancellor made and see if the 'hints' that our AD has made before I jump in too far. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? SHAME ON ME! |

Saints Playoff Game or UNO vs Incarnate Word? Unless my kid was playing it ain't happening. I say that without any guilt or remorse. I have already paid for my tickets so UNO is not getting hurt. Saturday afternoon games suck even when they do not bump up against NFL Playoffs. |

Yeah, understood... I hate Saturday afternoon games as well although this one is happening for a good reason. I would've loved it if they'd bumped this to a late night doubleheader after the football but I figure Incarnate Word probably has some travel issue making that impossible. Ultimately it doesn't bug me to miss part of the first quarter, though. For all of UNO's problems, the NFL is a criminal empire led by a crooked commissioner who specifically has it out for my team among other problems. So, go Privateers, and go-Saints-but-if-I-miss-500-out-of-Roger's-10,000-commercials-I'll-survive. |

I would also like to commend the Athletic Department for calling me yesterday and letting me know that the time had been changed. I gues it was an intern that called but at least they bothered to do so. |

Same here. The called my wife's cell thinking it was me but, the effort and quickness that they did it once a decision was made was LIGHT years ahead of the previous 'regime'. |

Official schedule at unoprivaters.com still lists Saturday game for the men at 7:45 pm An article at the web site says 1 pm. Post game radio show said 1:15 pm. Two announcements during the game last night said the men play at 11. It should be interesting to see who shows up to the arena at 11. |

I think the women play at 11. I thought I heard them say the men played at 11 (which would be the better plan), but at least two subsequent announcements said it was the women, then the men afterwards. At least it beats SLU's plan, which was 12/2 -- and then even after their women's game was subsequently forfeited, for some reason they're leaving the men's game at 2! Bizarre. Why even move the game time at all, then? They're "avoiding conflict" with the Saints game while still stepping all over the first half, even after a golden opportunity to move it earlier with no women's game. So I can't really complain about UNO's approach, whichever game is first. |

Women's team falls 67-38 to Incarnate Word, a transitional D1 that has lost four games to non-D1 teams this year, including a game to something called Wiley College. Again, 67-38. At home. |
