| Basketball tickets; Men's and Women's separate? | |

So apparently the men's and women's tickets are being sold separately this year. As one of the select few who has gone to most of the women's home games over the years, this is disappointing. The doubleheader games are included with a men's ticket, but the stand-alone women's games would cost an additional $80. I'm sorry, I'm as big a supporter of that program as anyone, but I can't possibly justify an extra $80 for five or so stand-alone games for a program that has had two winless seasons in the last three years. 80 for five games is absurd even if they were conference championship caliber. Was there really a problem with including the women's tickets with the purchase of a men's season ticket like in years past? Will any single person be purchasing just a women's season ticket? The kids gets comp tickets so family doesn't have to buy them, right? I'm so confused by this. |

If this holds, this is obviously another huge blunder by whomever makes these crazy, idiotic decisions.....but I guess I have no right to say this since I don't go to women's games.......but at least this was a reminder to me to get my men's tix. |

I can see leaving the women's ticket out if it actually brings down the cost of the men's ticket and you're trying to increase sales of men's season tickets. I'm not a fan of the idea of being forced to buy a season ticket to women's basketball if you only want one for the men. That said, $80 more for five games? Say what? How much are single-game tickets to a women's (non-DH) game? |

I never liked the idea of a men's season ticket including women's games. Looking at the audited financials for athletics, I think it skews the revenue, adding to women's basketball and taking away from men's basketball. That said, I go to the women's games, and bought two season tickets this year. I am considering a huge chunck of my $165 to be a contribution. I do hope, having paid a mailing fee with each ticket, that the ticket department mails me the tickets. For several years now, they waited until the day before the game to ask me to pick them up at will call. They have ample time this year. If they don't mail the tickets, I will not attend the games. |

I too have always had a problem with the combined season ticket. I've got nothing against the women's basketball team - like any other Privateer team, I always hope they do well. I just never attended more than a game or two here and there. It just never felt right being forced to buy those tickets in order to buy men's season tickets. |

Looks like the tickets are about to be mailed out. I got a confirmation call that they are working on that now. |

I'm late to the party but I just ordered our tix for pick up at will call. The online ordering was very easy and MUCH improved over the last few times I've done this. Just a reminder for those that may still not know...but if you join the UNO alumni for free, tix are 80 for mens vice the 100............not a bad deal. |

Hey, send out the email address to order tickets to alums or former fans you know. I did it for a few and one logged on last night and bought two tickets. Even if they don't come to many of the games the number of season tickets sold is important. |

I paid the fee to have them mailed. Would bother me to be charged for that only to have to pick them up because they won't mail them out in time. |

And I wouldn't blame you one bit. Are you going to the first game? If not, and if you don't have tix by that time, I'd be happy to pick them up for you and get them to you. And I don't charge a fee......at least not one you can afford

Thanks for the offer. Going to try to make it, but I'm amazed at how much time the boys' activities consume. Back to buying season tix (didn't buy them in the reclassification era mess), but not sure exactly how many games we will make. |

Got my tickets today by Fed Ex!! The letter that comes with the tickets is a little confusing because it states that tickets are enclosed for Men's and Women's games. I knew we only paid for Men's Basketball and that is the tickets we received. Also, there is no date listed on the for the Central Baptist Game that is a doubleheader with the Women playing Kent State. The men don't start until 7:45 ehich is in my opinion too late for a weekday. There are several other games that start that late. I don't see many people traveling too far to make those games. Kudos to the department for getting the tickets sent with plenty time to spare. |

Enjoy the new season. I'm hoping to get down for a couple of games this season. I just watched some of the old highlights on YouTube. Loving the win over #12 Florida State, but also getting a chill remembering what it was like in those days. 5,000 or so in Lakefront Arena makes it really rock. I hope Coach Sless can eventually build it back to that kind of atmosphere, though I know getting Virginia, Florida State, etc., into your building to add spice to your home slate is much more difficult these days. |

Last night, the season ticket which I had purchased online was not at will call as I had requested. No big deal, as I used an extra ticket which my friend had to get into the game. What is annoying is that when I went to forward the email which I had received when I purchased the tickets to the UNO ticket office, the email address on the UNO website, tickets@uno.edu, could not be found. So, I guess I'll need to call unless I find a valid email address. |

Thanks reduno. Brandy sent me a very nice email indicating that my season ticket issue had been resolved. I'll pick up my season ticket at Will Call at the next home game on December 6th. Also, the problem with the tickets@uno.edu email address may have been fixed, as I sent an email using it, and it was not rejected. |
