Fletcher Mackel took to Twitter last night about John Reid's story with a "Love It!" I would love to see Bo get a shot also. |

Quickness is the first thing to go. Hopefully he hasn't lost so much of it yet that he's not an NBA player anymore. Peak Bo McCalebb was the quickest basketball player on earth, for whatever deficiencies he had. |

I hope Bo gets a chance to play in the NBA, if that's what he wants. He's two days older than Chris Paul (30), who's still a pretty good point guard, so he's probably got a few more good years left. |

Great day for both the Pelicans and UNO. Pelicans get a local boy does good story, UNO gets to say we're relevant. |

Now that was a good NOLA sports Thursday... The Saints beat the Falcons... and the Pelicans sign Bo McCalebb! I hope they give Bo a legit shot and that this isn't just a "we need a camp body and this is a feel-good story" thing. Because it would be awesome seeing Bo make this team. |

Yep SP it is starting to be a much better sports week here. While I wish someone gave BO a chance when he was younger and faster, I'm sure he got even tougher over in Europe so, that should work in his favor. Now if we can just get the Cubbies to join this Happy Time Week, I'd be in good spirits with this great weather coming.

My wife and I were in a local "antique" store and I noticed a small autographed UNO basketball. Bo was one of the signees. Needless to say I had to purchase it much to my wife's dismay. GO PRIVATEERS!!! |

2 for 6 last night, but missed his last 4 shots, according to the brief write ups of last night's game that I've seen. |

The trouble with this scenario is that Bo has very little time to prove himself. I hope that he can get in shape fast and have improved stats for next game. At least he's out there now, so if he doesn't latch on with the Pelicans, maybe another NBA team will be interested. |

Yeah, the addition of Robinson did not help Bo's chances at all. Hopefully, it gives him a shot for someone else. |

Well, Bo has shown a few flashes but generally has been pretty poor in his first two games, shooting 27% and with a combined plus/minus of -34. You will never convince me peak Bo wouldn't have been at least a decent NBA rotation guy though. |

Bo didn't help his cause last night scoring 5 points on 2 for 9 shooting (the same as Nate Robinson) and committing 4 turnovers. |

I was able to watch some of that game on the web last night and he struggled a bit. He drove to the basket several times but his shots were altered by the defense. He definitely isn't yet up to NBA speed so I hope they give him more time but I think he can play in this league in some capacity. |

Well, unless they keep both Nate Robinson and Bo, I think that the Pelicans will go with Nate. So far in tonight's game, he's scored 16 points to Bo's 2. He also has 10 years of NBA experience. |

Since most of the Pelicans are usually on crutches by the time the season starts every year, he still may make the team. Unless he's on crutches. |
