In appearance they look like dilophosaurus but they had longer arms and their skeletal build was the same as other Lagerpetids. These either hunted fish or carrion.

These would be in the niches similar to storks and vultures in being that they are scavengers and fish hunters. their skulls exactly mimic that of dilophosaurus but their teeth are conical instead of serrated and pointing back. They have fur-like quills on their bodies.

this is what I got so far what do you think?

Interesting concept, the idea of larger, piscivorous lagerpetids is rather interesting, although the paired head crests might be pushing it with the dilophosaurid convergence.

well the cryo and boomerang-like crests will not be in the final thing. I was just playing around with shape ideas

the crests will be more similar to dilophosaurus, their may be some single crested ones too

what do you think of the quill-fur? Since early dinosaurs had quills and very very primitive feathers, I thought that this trait start off in their mimics before the real deals came along. Thus these have the quill-fur

The fish eating pseado-dilos will be like dilophosaurus while the smaller scavengers are like coelophysis.
