I just came up with a reason to muck about with pterosaur evolution. Seeing as the Dracosuchids develop a coatal migratory branch, that would put competition on the costal pterosaurs, and since Dracosuchids retain full terrestrial mobility, and therefore aren't as vulnerable on land, would probably either push costal pterosaurs to other costal niches or wupe them out entirely. Thoughts?

After they went to tall the trouble of developing flight in the first place? I'd doubt that (I'm not particularly fond of flightless, terrestrial pterosaurs).

This sounds quite plausible, as rhamphorhynchine pterosaurs (the dominant coastal pterosaurs at the time) were rather well suited for sitting in water and possibly even swimming. I'd say it would be feasible for them to adapt to a lifestyle similar to that of auks; becoming good swimmers and divers while dracosuchids fill the role of soarers, like gulls of similar birds.

I see nocturnal pterosaurs fluttering about looking for insects while their day shift equals sleep.

I see bigger pteradactloids feeding like vultures.

I Propose that Dilo should be our new Paleo artist. Everyone in agreement?

Also that looks like a creepy love child of a manta ray and a nothosaur XD

I still think DK could do a lot more Accurate art than me. and i kinda was going for the Manta Ray look. Right now im trying to figure if its possible for either Live Birth in Pterosaurs or if there is a way i can make the Eggs to be oxygenated without having to be on the surface.

Maybe we can explore bipedalism in some small pterosaurs like Dimorphodon. Or at least semi bipedalism like for running only.

I don't see pterosaurs giving live birth or amphibian eggs. I do see some flopping around like a seal though i this form, the wings dragging the rest of it along.
