Scientific Name: Pantherosuchus atrox
Meaning: Fierce Panther Crocodile
Common name: Lioncroc, Mediterranean Lioncroc (Mediterranean variant)
Lifespan: 20 years
Age: Calabrian-Holocene
Diet: Meat, mostly of softer skinned prey.

Habitat: Savannahs, Coastal Plains,
Description: these Somewhat robust panterosuchans, similar to their sister specie P.orientalis, they are somewhat more gracial that the mentioned, only getting a maximum length of 17 feet long and 5 feet tall. Often sporting a mixture of brown stripes and spots on a golden brown background. they sport similar blade teeth like P.orientalis and a similar hump as well. The Mediterranean variety is sometimes considered dwarf considering its almost half the size of its larger relives, only being around 13 feet long with 4 feet at the shoulder.
Notes: one of the few Social Species of Epicephaled, Rare like most other Pantherosuchans. Numbers are growing though.
Behavior: Often forming small packs of Individuals, usually harems lead by a Male. Males come to power by being stronger than their rivals. Males can become very territorial.
Breeding Behavior: Males will mate with some of the females they harem around the summer months, so young are born within the cooler wet season. Males are often known to hunt with Females that he has not mated with, which makes them somewhat unique in Panterosuchans.
