Pisanosauridae: (Before anyone breaks my neck and puts me in a oven with seasonings. Please read the thing first. If you don't like it then I'll delete it myself. I at least posted something.) For reasons we don't understand, dinosaurs got the short end of the stick within this world. Trace fossils of three toed prints have been written off as theropod track but could be dracosuchids or dinosauriforms. Recent findings though show that though theropod and Sauropodomorph dinosaurs died out quickly, Ornithischians survived only to die out a period or less later. A Fragmentary skull and legs have been found of a animal resembling our world's Pisanosaurus. But this shows a larger species unknown in our world. Therefor dinosaurs may have died out but not without leaving a mark. Though famous in our world, they are insignificant here. Dinosaurs are known to have appeared but must have been quickly driven extinct due to the little or no remains found. Scientific Name: Ornithischion. brazilensis Meaning: Bird hip from Brazil Common name: Mystery dino Age: Late Carnian Diet: Cycads, Ferns, insects Location: Southern Brazil Habitat: Flood plain with volcanic activity Description: Holotype was of a fragmentary skull consisting of the brain case, lower jaw, and part of the snout. A fang can be seen from the lower jaw, Legs bones from possibly the same individual discovered a year later show it was a strong and fast runner. Notes: Besides what we can see from the little we have, not much is known from this animal Behavior: A fast runner, it was probably cautious and timid in life like our world's deer and would either run or kick if threatened. Possibly solitary considering no other remains found. Breeding Behavior: Unknown at the moment. Other: So far only the two specimens(same individual?) is known. Other than being the only dinosaur known and possibly last dinosaur known from this world, not much else is remarkable about it. Edited by the dark phoenix, Jan 29 2016, 02:32 AM.
