TURKISH-BRAZILIAN TRADE AGREEMENT

Preamble
Brazil and Turkey hereby establish commitments to mutual trade and investment in the coming years, in the interest of promoting further economic growth, development and prosperity in both nations. The governments of both countries recognize and acknowledge the benefits, for both the Turkish and Brazilian peoples, of more trade and investment between them.

Article I: Trade and Investment
1. ) Both governments commit to provide more incentives to encourage investment between the two nations. These may include appropriate reductions in taxation and a gradual and controlled and mutually accorded reduction in tariffs and other restrictions on trade between parties.
2. ) Brazil will decrease their tariffs by 40% on Turkish goods. Turkey will decrease their tariffs by 40% on Brazilian goods.
3. ) Brazil agrees to treat Turkey companies equally with Brazilian companies. Turkey agrees to treat Brazilian companies equally with Turkey companies.

Article II: Business
1. ) Brazilian companies agree to abide by all Turkish laws regarding businesses when conducting business in Turkey.
2. ) Turkish companies agree to abide by all Brazilian laws regarding businesses when conducting business in Brazil.
3. ) The two nations agree to establish incentives to enhance the ability of further investment between the two nations.

Article III: Agreement Terms
1. ) This treaty will officially be enacted upon ratification.
2. ) It will remain enforced until the two parties agree to end it bilaterally or if the Republic of Brazil or the Turkish Republic terminates it with a notification six-months prior to the intended date of termination.
