American - Pakistani Supply Route Restoration Accord Section 1. Memorandum of Understanding A. The provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the United States of American and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in regards to supply routes, are hereby restored. B. The United States will pay however, only 80% of the funding they were liable for, when signing the previous Memorandum of Understanding. Section 2. Drone Strikes A. The United States agrees to confer with the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan before launching any strikes unmanned areal vehicles. B. If a reply from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan isn't received within 72 hours of a request to launch a drone strike, the United States will be granted the right to launch the said drone strike. Section 3. USAID A. The United States agrees to restore 90% of previously planned USAID developmental funding to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. B. The United States agrees to restore 85% of previously planned USAID economic investment funding to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Section 4. Military aid A. The United States agrees to restore 80% B. The United States agrees to restore all funding to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. Section 5. Embargoes A. The United States will agree to strike down all embargoes on the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, except for arms transfers. B. The United States will maintain the ban on exporting heavy arms to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, for the next fiscal year. Section 6. Seizing of supplies A. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan will return all NATO supplies that have been seized. B. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan will reimburse related NATO powers for any damaged or spoiled supplies and food. |
