Here is the template that all new CSes will be made with. All the information you need is here, you simply need to copy-paste, then fill in information about your character where needed.
Looks like a bunch of jumbled-up letters and codes and stuff, right? Well don't worry, it's a lot cleaner when posted, It'll look like this. A quick guide. We'll modify the notes here as need be. Notes: (Optional) This is for any overall notes that should be seen at the beginning of the CS. Full Name: Your character's full name. Any nicknames can be in parenthesis. For example, Bob "Ratbastard" Solomon. Or, Steve Species: Your character's base species, either singular or plural. This will be their original, permanent and/or recurring forms. If born as a shapeshifter, then for example "Human-Shrew Shifter" would work just fine. If a permanent change or modification of species has occurred, simply list both, IE respectively "(Human), Centaur" or "Anthro-walrus, Vampire". Gender: Your character's gender. If any weird situations exist here, use the same rule of thumb as in Species. Player: Your player's handle goes here. For me, for example, this would simply read Garith Physical Profile: The profile of any forms that the character regularly uses. Of note, some categories here can be added or removed as needed, as fitting the character. Even if a form is dormant or hasn't been used in awhile, never hurts to leave it on hand and mark it as such for future reference or use. The most common or default form should come first, with rare or previous forms shuffled down to the bottom. Form name should ideally be the species. For example, at the bottom, I might have Hippotaur (one-time desc) listed at the bottom of the pile, just in case it were ever needed again or were to be referenced for log-reading or plot purposes. Form A (Default) Form B Add forms as neccessary. IC Information: This part should be added to CSes after they have been approved. It's going to be rather empty for starting characters. That's normal, it'll be filled in as you go along. This section is meant to be updated as often as is practical, and tracks the IC factors that run along with your character. PC Relationships NPC Relationships General Rumour Buried Rumour Assets Inventory: The stuff that your character carries around with them on a regular basis. Small portable things, or in the case of a new character, what's on them when they arrive. Item A Item B Item C Item D Skills and Abilities: Feel free to add more miscellaneous items here, but for the most part, this should be the basic set. Combat Experience Weapon Training Level of Education Vocational History Language Fluency Paranormal Abilities: Anything outside of the realm of normal, realistic stuff. Your telepathy or magic or werewolfism or future-psi-cyborgic stuff goes here. Any special abilities or effects or regeneration. Ability A Ability B Add as neccessary. This is a sample of what a completed CS will look like. Since humans are pretty simple and straightforward, I'll be doing an Animus with magical abilities. This will also give you an idea of what would be acceptable for a character with magic. Note that the abilities and system in this CS won't be dictating exactly what you should do, it's just a sample. You can come up with your own system for a character's magic as long as it's reasonable. Notes: Here she is. Full Name: Syrah (pronounced See-rah) Species: Cheetah animus Gender: Female Player: Garith Physical Profile: Anthro Cheetah(Default) Inventory: Maple recurve bow Quiver of arrows (25) Hunting knife Backpack Skills and Abilities: Combat Experience Weapon Training First aid Level of Education Vocational History Language Fluency Paranormal Abilities: Syrah channels her chi (in simple terms, she channels her own life force) to use her spells, and since she uses her own life force she can only do so much. If too much chi is consumed by spells, she will start to experience weakness, sluggishness, headaches, nausea, or in some cases blacking out if too much is used. Her chi regenerates itself over time. All Syra's magic uses this system.
