Juno Reactor's "Giant" hits and Tyrone Rexx comes out. He high fives some fans then walks to the ring and jumps in over the top rope. As the music fades, "Kung Fu" by Ash begins to blaze over the speakers. Tony Harrison leaps onstage, wearing a ninja headband and baggy trousers. He runs down to the ring and slides in, and starts cracking his knuckles in anticipation of the match. Singles Match Tony Harrison vs Tyrone Rexx Rexx spent too long hanging over the ropes playing to the fans in the front rows, and when he turned round he walked straight into a big boot from Harrison. Cover. One - two - no, with a sick grin Harrison lifted him up off the mat, to a chorus of boos! Harrison kicked Rexx onto his front, knelt down with a knee in the youngster's spine and locked in a crosslegged crab variant. To his credit Tyrone refused to tap. Tony spread his arms wide, soaking in the audience's hate, then got off Rexx. He booted the kid in the ribs as he rose, then powerslammed him. He went for a figure four, but Tyrone scrabbled out of danger. He whipped a spinning heel kick into Harrison then hit the ropes, but Harrison answered with a leaping one-handed bulldog, turning in midair to land on all fours. As Rexx pushed himself back up, Harrison dashed in with the spear, drilling Rexx into the mat. He covered, but his young opponent managed to roll a shoulder at the very last moment! :Stevie Howard: Holy shit, how did Tyrone manage that!? Harrison turned on the ref and started arguing that it was a three, to no avail. This went on for some time. Tony finally gave up and turned back to his opponent - who flew off the top in a missile dropkick! He scored a baseball slide, and followed that up with a shining wizard! With an almighty burst of energy Tyrone found the Irish whip but Harrison ran up the turnbuckles, sidestepped onto the rope, and phoenixed out into a diving lariat. Despite themselves, the crowd popped for the athletic move, but that soon turned to boos as he knelt down and squeezed Rexx's face in one hand, leaning in close and issuing a quiet threat. He smacked Tyrone onto his back, hooked one leg around his head and pulled the other leg up along with an arm. He leaned back, torquing both the leg and arm as hard as he could, and Rexx tapped almost instantly. :Stevie Howard: Thanks for coming, kid. Kudos for hanging on so long, but that was another one-sided win for Tony Harrison. Guess the King of Crunch really does mean business! The lights dim across the arena as To Glory by Two Steps From Hell plays over the PA System. The slow burn of the beginning solo slowly rises as does the lights of the arena just as quickly as they were dimmed. The entrance tron shows various fast moving backgrounds of snowy mountain caps, low rolling meadows bursting with greenery, the soaring of eagles over open sky and the rumbling stampede of beasts through endless valleys. As the song edges towards low chanting, Ulfrun Hafgrimr finally makes his way down to the ring. Surrounded by a small entourage, no more than 6-8 of trainers & promoters, The Iron Guard himself is clad in a large bright red cape with the fur of mountain lions as his pauldrons upon his shoulders. He clutches his left hand over his right forearm protected by matching black and gold arm bands, he approaches the octagonal ring. The entourage spreads out around the ring in the corner of their man, as he lifts his clutched arm into the air bellowing a Nordic battle cry, ripping his arms away from one another and to his sides in clenched fists of adrenal fury. A chorus beings to sing as an epic score booms through the P.A. system. After a minute, it stops. Suddenly a song begins to plays a chilling melody, then suddenly a loud boom explodes from crashing drums, as the lights flash a blood red, signalling "Miseria Cantare" by AFI. Smoke slowly oozes from the stage and Oliver emerges slowly upward as a red strobes around behind him, shining brightly with a black cross in the red light. Oliver methodically strides down the ramp, dressed in black and red short tights with a white cross in on the back of the tight, along with black kneepads and black and red kickpads, and lastly with black wrist tape on both wrists and a single elbow pad on his right arm. Oliver looks at the crowd, Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one of us Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one of us The camera gets a close up over his left eye which was white with a cross on the pupil. Swiftly, he springs over the ropes, his feet a foot above the top set of ropes. Nothing from nowhere, I'm no one at all Radiate, recognize one silent call As we all form one dark flame... Incinerate He does a spin which transitions into a kneeling position into the middle of the ring. Nothing from nowhere, I'm no one at all Radiate, recognize one silent call As we all form one dark flame As we all form one dark flame As we all... His head slowly raises towards a burning white spotlight that appears, he places his hands together in a praying motion, then slowly lowers his head with a stern expression. Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one of us Love your hate, your faith lost You are now one, one of us He stands and walks to his corner, turning his back towards his opponent, gripping onto the top ropes, and giving an icy glare until the bell sounds. Singles Match Ulfrun Hafgrimr vs. Oliver Creed The match started off with Hafgrimr using his obvious strength advantage but Creed's veteran experience in the ring was beginning to pay off early in the match. While it was difficult to lift the big man up, Creed still executed a few suplexes to mix it up between sessions of keeping Hafgrimr grounded with submission and choke holds. Proving his strength, Creed easily spun Hafgrimr with Purpatory's Circle. The pinfall was academic. His hand raised in victory, Creed took a moment to savor the victory before rolling out of the ring. :Xavier Michaels: OK, that shit look like it hurt. :Mick Crellin: Impressive victory by the veteran and former GEW champion tonight. :Stevie Howard: I'm still trying to figure out how he picked up that monster. PED's? The opening riff of 'White Knuckles' by Alter Bridge blasts through the PA system as a lone figure steps out onto the entrance ramp wearing a hoodie. A green strobe light begins to flash rapidly as the figure remains still with his hands in his pockets, staring out into the crowd. Are you still lost tonight? Living but dead inside This is a proclamation This is a call to rise! The man starts to walk down the ramp ever so slowly, tilting his head from side to side with each step and observing the hostile crowd before him. We are the disillusioned... We've been left wanting more... Before every aspiration hits the floor... The man throws his hood down to reveal a full head of long, brown hair. Hold on for your life! All we feel is so far from alive! Declan walks briskly to the ring, ignoring the negative reaction he is receiving, and enters via the steel steps. He immediately walks to a turnbuckle and throws both hands up into the air with closed fists. The damned are done believing The cursed can dream no mores hold on for your life Because only the strong survive! Declan jumps down, looks up at the entrance ramp and eagerly awaits the arrival of his opponent. "Surrender" by In This Moment begins playing, arena lighting changing to a slight blue with it just before Erin Daniels pushing aside the curtain at the entrance to come out, Reborn title slung hanging over her right shoulder and chest. Brown hair tied back into a ponytail, Daniels makes her way towards the ring in her attire of black tank top and pants, a blue stripe going down the side of each leg. At ringside, she reaches up to grab the middle rope, using it to springboard herself up, black knee-high boots finding their hold on the apron easily before slipping in between the top and middle rope. Singles Match Declan Hunter vs. Erin Daniels Erin started out the match with her trademark quickness and agility, leaving Hunter to do his best to keep up with her. A sharp kick to his midsection from her was followed by a palm strike to the side of his head, while Hunter got in a few shots at her, Erin was doing a good job of making the match run at her pace. Grabbing his arm to twist and turn it into a standing armbar, Hunter never saw the kick from her until a half second before it connected with his chin and neck. Having him reeling, Erin drop him down on his back with her in a side Russian Leg Sweep. The turning point in the match was when Erin tried to whip Hunter into the ropes but he reversed it to send her into them. When she came back at him, he ran to meet her with a knee raised up to her face. Not wasting a second, he pinned her but only got a two count. Looking none too happy about hitting her with such a high impact move but not getting the win, he set to kicking her in the midsection repeated while she was down. Erin tried to cover up from the shots but the connect for the most part. Satisfied that she was getting softened up, he grabbed at her ponytail to pull her up with him. The knee strikes to her stomach only increased the sluggishness with which she was starting to move before Hunter whipped her into a turnbuckle and followed immediately after her with a lariat. Looking to be out of it, Erin was defenseless as Hunter climbed the turnbuckle, holding her close and head under his arm as he looked to be setting her up for a Spinning DDT from the top. Once away from the turnbuckle, however, Erin's head came loose as she reached up to grab behind Hunter's head and pull him down with a facebuster into her knees. :Xavier Michaels: Where the hell did she pull that out from?! :Mick Crellin: Into Dust from Erin! And she's going for the pin! After taking a few seconds to recover her senses, looking to not even realize what she had done, Erin draped an arm over Hunter so the referee could the pin fall. Hunter kicked up a hair of a second after the three count but it was too late. Erin immediately slide out of the ring under the bottom rope where she was handed her title belt and hand raised in victory as she looked too be breathing heavy after the intensely fought match. :Stevie Howard: I really want to know how she keeps pulling this wins out. :Mick Crellin: The champion showing her resiliency here tonight. The feed goes to black for a moment. Gradually, the screen and the arena begin to fill with a mix of red and purple light before a voice begins speaking through the arena's PA system. I am Death Arms held outstretched I am Hell Born this mortal shell I am Wrath Take this bloodbath God sent me to kill you The lights return to their normal level for the next match. :Xavier Michaels: God damn. Well alright then, Satan. :Stevie Howard: Do I even want to know what that's about? :Xavier Michaels: No, not really. We'll just see in California. :Mick Crellin: Why do I have a feeling you're involved in this somehow, Xavier? A.J. appears on stage as the music begins. He scans the crowd briefly, then walks deliberately toward the ring. Reaching ringside he climbs the steps quickly, walks down the apron,one hand on the top rope. He gets to the middle of the apron and wipes his feet, the enters between the second and top rope. He walks to the center of the ring and looks out over the crowd with a look of determination. He raises one fist in the air, then retreats to his corner to await the start of the match. Subdivisions begins to play, the lights drop down and a countdown starts on the Tron 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1 small fireworks erupt from the stage, *pop pop pop pop* followed by a big *BANG* Sprawling on the fringes of the city In geometric order An insulated border In between the bright lights And the far unlit unknown Chris Paige enters, he is wearing a gold hoodie with the words "NSFW" on the back. He begins to saunter down to the ring Growing up it all seems so one-sided Opinions all provided The future pre-decided Detached and subdivided In the mass production zone Chris reaches the apron and hops on it, he throws his hood back and raises his hands up, he is staring at the sky. Nowhere is the dreamer or the misfit so alone Chris hops the ropes and gets in the ring, he drops his sweater on the steel steps on his way in, he then stands on the second rope, staring down the ramp, he raises his arms. The chorus starts Subdivisions -- In the high school halls In the shopping malls Conform or be cast out Subdivisions -- In the basement bars In the backs of cars Be cool or be cast out Any escape might help to smooth The unattractive truth But the suburbs have no charms to soothe The restless dreams of youth Synth Solo Chris is complimented by sparks dropping around the ring as he poses for pictures with his photography crew. Singles Match A.J. Cleary vs. Chris Paige Cleary started the match with his typical brawling style and never let up on Paige the entire time. At a few points here and there, it looked to be nothing short of an assault rather than a promotion sponsored wrestling match. It was only a matter of time before Cleary finished off the already beaten Paige with an emphatic DDT. The resulting pin fall and three count was academic. :Mick Crellin: An impressive win by Cleary here tonight. Wonder where he'll be going after this to capitalize on the victory. :Xavier Michaels: Agreed, Mick. Haven't seen someone just straight up get his ass kicked like that since a waiter brought the wife's food cold. The opening to Sixx:A.M.'s "This is Gonna Hurt" builds up to blare over the arena sound system, the house lights dimming to a near darkness with strobe lights focused on the entrance flickering in time with the music. As the song kicks in to the main guitar riff, Kai O'Hara makes his way out onto the staging area and glances around at the fans either side of him. Feels like your life is over Feels like all hope is gone You kiss it all away Maybe, maybe He bounces on his toes a couple of times, psyching himself up for the match ahead of him and then starts his walk down the ramp toward the ring. This is a second coming This is a call to arms Your finest hour won't be Wasted, wasted With a smile on his face, he reaches out and tags the hands of any fans showing him support along the edges of the ramp. Hey, hey Hell is what you make, make Rise against your fate, fate Nothing's gonna keep you down Even if it's killing you Because you know the truth Stopping in front of the ring, he looks up at the eight-sided structure and visibly takes a deep breath in before blowing it back out and sliding underneath the bottom rope. Listen up, listen up There's a devil in the church Got a bullet in the chamber and This is gonna hurt Let it out, let it out You can scream and you can shout Keep your secrets in the shadows and You'll be sorry Again, he bounces on his toes, twisting his hips in a warm-up and then stops and raises his arms into the air, met with a cheer from the crowd. Everybody's getting numb Everybody's on the run Listen up, listen up There's a devil in the church Got a bullet in the chamber and This is gonna hurt He crouches slightly with his hands on his knees, waiting for the start of the match as his music fades out. The lights go down as “Crying Like A Bitch” begins to play. The crowd starts to cheer as Troy Gafgen makes his way out from behind the curtain. He raises both arms into the air and yells “It’s GO TIME!” as he gazes out into the crowd. “Strut on by like a king. Telling everybody they know nothing. And long live what you thought you were. And time ain’t on your side anymore.” Troy begins to walk down the ramp as he slaps some of the fans hands. He then turns to face the ring and he stops. He gives himself a couple of slaps to the head and chest before running and sliding right into the ring. “And so you tell me, I can’t take my chances. But I told you one too many times and you were crying like a bitch! And you wonder why, no one can stand you. And there’s no denying you were crying like a bitch…you were crying like a bitch!” Troy stands in the middle of the ring and soaks up the applause from the crowd. He walks over to the turnbuckle and tosses his arms up in the air, before hopping down off the turnbuckle and smirks. Singles Match Kai O'Hara vs Troy Gafgen As the bell sounded, Troy smirked as he called for a test of strength. He reached out his arms and Kai was very hesitant. He eventually complied, and both men locked hands. Troy then used his strength and forced O'Hara to his knees. Kai, grimacing in pain, tried to break free but Troy had a tight grip. Troy eventually let him go, and started pandering to the crowd, much to the dismay of the audience. Kai then took the opportunity to get to his feet and he charged at Gafgen. Troy saw him coming and kneed him in the stomach. He then dropped Kai to the mat with a big suplex. :Mick Crellin: Gafgen is just playing with the youngster here. :Xavier Michaels: So, he likes to play with boys? Sick fuck! Troy then stomped around on Kai before lifting him up and dropping him back down to the mat with a big sidewalk slam. Troy then smirked as he climbed the turnbuckle. He scanned the crowd and soaked up all their hatred but his eyes locked onto the entrance ramp when he saw Erin Daniels standing there watching on. Troy screamed hateful things at her and Kai took the opportunity to crotch Troy on the top rope! Troy winced in pain and fell right from the top rope to the mat as Kai went for the cover, only to get a two count. :Mick Crellin: Erin Daniels' presence almost cost Troy Gafgen the match! :Stevie Howard: Yeah, but now Troy's gonna be angry. As Kai and Troy both got back to their feet, they began trading blows. Troy, being the larger and more aggressive of the two, got the upper hand and kicked Kai right in the gut. He then lifted him up for a pump handle slam. He turned to face Erin and saw that she was moving closer to ringside. He tossed Kai aside and motion for her to get into the ring. Erin backed off and Troy smiled, only for him to be rolled up by Kai for the three count! :Stevie Howard: NO WAY! Kai won! Kai beat Troy Gafgen! :Mick Crellin: Erin Daniels was the factor here tonight but Troy doesn't look to happy. Indeed he didn't as Troy pieced together what just happened. As Kai was celebrating, Troy ran up behind him and tackled him. He then started going to town on him, unloading with hard lefts and rights to his skull. Troy stood up and yelled in a frenzy. He then turned his attention towards Erin and grabbed a microphone. :Troy Gafgen: Come on Erin, come save Kai...he looks hurt. Erin came right to ringside but she couldn't climb into the ring. She was yelling at Troy, calling him a bunch of names as he continued to pound away on O'Hara. Troy laughed as he lifted Kai up and delivered the sickness right in the center of the ring. He looked as if he was going to do more damage but he was spun around by Kameron Chase! :Mick Crellin: Kameron! He's here to stop Troy! Troy smirked as he was face to face with The Natural Disaster. Kameron told him to back off and Troy obliged by turning to leave, only to clock Kameron with a right hand and the two began trading blows. Erin took the opportunity to slide into the ring and pull Kai out of the danger zone. Troy and Kameron kept at it until officials got into the ring to separate them. The two kept screaming at each other as everyone struggled to get the situation under control. A camera follows backstage to where Kameron Chase and Erin Daniels are helping a hurting Kai O'Hara through the curtain. :Erin Daniels: I'm so sorry I didn't get in there to help, Kai. I just, I don't know. After last time I was in the ring with him, I don't know. :Kameron Chase: That fucking psycho could've killed you last time. :Erin Daniels: I know, but I hate just seeing him doing the same shit to someone else. It didn't stop you from getting in there did it? I told you when we first started dating that I'm not some prissy girl that'll shy away from something, but I don't know. I was scared. :Kameron Chase: Don't be. There's no way he's getting anywhere close to you to do it again. Kameron and Erin continue helping Kai along the hallway finally settling to stop at a storage case so he could be attended to by the medical staff that are approaching. :Kai O'Hara: Dammit! Mark was right. I wasn't ready for him and still keep losing. Erin stops Kai from complaining about his performance, resting a hand on his cheek to make him look at her. :Erin Daniels: Kai, look at me. You won. :Kai O'Hara: I what? I won? Holy shit! Erin nods in agreement, clearly proud of the youngster as Cole McGrath approaches seeming to be out of breath. :Cole McGrath: I'll be damned Kai. You actually did it. Leaving the two friends to talk, Erin returned her attention to Kameron, her fiance. :Erin Daniels: Well it looks like I owe you, babe. Win or lose, I have something special in mind for you. Let's just say it involves handcuffs. She steps in as they kiss for a moment, having to stand on her toes. :Kameron Chase: I'll hold you to that. But for now, I have a title to defend. Tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN! DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN! DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN! A tiger’s roar crackles through the speakers, and out comes Tommy ‘Tiger’ White through the curtain. He spins around quickly, hands in the air, his back to the ring, as the camera zooms in on the large black tiger paw on the back of his white robe. Risin’ up, back on the street Did my time, took my chances Went the distance, now I’m back on my feet Just a man and his will to survive White swings around, all smiles, ready to get to work. He makes his way to the ring, singing along to his theme music and slapping hands with fans. He makes his way to the ring and over to the steps. So many times, it happens too fast You change your passion for glory Don’t lose your grip on the dreams of the past You must fight just to keep them alive White climbs the steps and walks across the apron, playing to the crowd. He wipes his boots at the corner and steps into the ring and immediately to the middle rope. It’s the, eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the nightAnd he’s watchin’ us all with the Eyeeee Of the Tiger! The intro from Army of Anyone's "Father Figure" plays for a few seconds before fading into a silence. The lights in the arena dim to a state of almost complete darkness as a growing echo takes over the sound system. A single blue strobe light pulsates with the vibrations, becoming stronger as the echo gets louder and as it reaches it's climax the house lights brighten slightly as Union Underground's "Natural High" kicks in. "SUCH A NATURAL HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH" Kameron Chase throws back the curtain and makes his way out onto the staging area; a smug grin on his face as he glances around the arena through his Aviators while the blue spotlight shines down on him. "I'm not your saviour; no fuckin' lie, I'd kill myself to stay alive, Forget the future; regret the past,No present tense is gonna last. Naaaaaaaaaaatural (It's a natural) Hiiiiiiiiiiiigh (Such a natural), it's a..." Raising his shades up onto his head Kameron starts down the ramp towards the ring at a relatively slow pace, absently slapping the hands of a couple of fans. "Naaaaaaaaaaatural (It's a natural) Hiiiiiiiiiiiigh (Such a natural), it's a... Swimming in a sea of a jealous tide wont wash your hate away, Selling your soul for a piece of mind; can't buy yourself today, Ain't it funny how the power, the money, the consistency of the truth, Bleed today but laugh tomorrow in the burden of our youth." As the instrumental takes over, he hops up onto the apron on one knee. Holding onto the middle rope, he takes one last glance around the arena before getting to his feet and climbing into the ring through the ropes. Kameron rounds the announcer, making his way over to one of the corners "Swimming in a sea of a jealous tide won't wash your hate away (Such a natural high)Selling your soul for a piece of mind; can't buy yourself today (Such a natural high) Ain't it funny how the power, the money, the consistency of the truth (Such a natural high) Bleed today but laugh tomorrow in the burden of our youth (Such a natural high)." Standing on the middle rope in the corner, Kameron points a finger out at the crowd surrounding him, muttering inaudible words. He slaps his chest, nods his head and then jumps down from the turnbuckle, taking off his shades and handing them to the referee as he jumps up and down on the spot, ready for his match. Phoenix Championship Singles Match "Tiger" Tommy White vs. Kameron Chase (c) The bell sounded after Chase handed the referee the Phoenix title belt and White had a chance to look at the title he was about to fight for. The match began with Chase on the offensive and gaining an early advantage. Both men had years of experience in the ring but Chase was starting to use his added physical strength to overpower White's technical skills. One, two, three forearms to the side of the head softened white up enough before a Northern Lights Suplex dropped White to the mat on his back. Pressing the advantage with White down, Chase came down with a fist drop followed immediately with a Dragon Sleeper. Using his awareness of his presence in the ring, White fought for a moment, refusing to give up and angle his legs towards a bottom rope. Chase tried to pull him back but was a hair too late to keep White's foot from hitting the rope, forcing him to break the hold when the referee reached the count of four. Forced to break the hold, Chase was on his feet and caught White with an European Uppercut as his was starting to rise. The force of the blow spun White around with his back to Chase who easily hit a one-handed bulldog. White, however, was right back on his feet but seemed to have lost track of where Chase was. Standing behind him, Chase grabbed White by the shoulder and pulls him back down as he falls with his knees to his back for the Pleural Tap. He immediately went for the pinfall but White, refusing to stay down, kicked out at the count of two. :Mick Crellin: "Tiger" just won't stay down. You have to wonder just what Chase is going to have to do to put the man away. :Xavier Michaels: Do we need to start testing if people are on Energizer batteries now? Fucker's the Energizer bunny of wrestling. :Stevie Howard: Is that a cue for a battery advertisement here or something? White got up in a whirl, a surge of adrenaline carrying him, as he pulled Chase's legs out from under him and flipped over still holding his legs going for a bridging pin but only got a one count. One his feet second, still feeling the effects of Chase's offense before, White barely had a chance to see Chase coming at him. He ducked a punch from Chase to move behind the man, White catching him on the chin with a quick Superkick as he turned back around. White ran to the ropes to come back at Chase with some momentum and swung behind him to grab his arms in a crucifix to pull him down in a pin. Chase barely had enough time to kick out at two. Up before Chase this time, White angled himself to be in the perfect postion for a Bridging Tiger Suplex and hit it flawlessly. Holding it for the pin, Chase kicked out a second too late. The crowd cheers at the display from both opponents as the referee hands White the Phoenix Championship title belt while Chase looks surprised by the outcome, holding up two fingers to say it was only a two count. Holding the title, White looks at it for a moment before Chase extends a hand after coming to terms and accepting that the better man won that night. :Xavier Michaels: Kameron losing gracefully? Now I done seen it all. :Mick Crellin: Miss Daniels retained the title in Malibu but her other half has lost his here tonight. Amazing show from both of them. |
