Giant hits and Tyrone Rexx comes out. He high fives some fans then walks to the ring and jumps in over the top rope.

The opening to Sixx:A.M.'s "This is Gonna Hurt" builds up to blare over the arena sound system, the house lights dimming to a near darkness with strobe lights focused on the entrance flickering in time with the music. As the song kicks in to the main guitar riff, Kai O'Hara makes his way out onto the staging area and glances around at the fans either side of him.

Feels like your life is over
Feels like all hope is gone
You kiss it all away
Maybe, maybe

He bounces on his toes a couple of times, psyching himself up for the match ahead of him and then starts his walk down the ramp toward the ring.

This is a second coming
This is a call to arms
Your finest hour won't be
Wasted, wasted

With a smile on his face, he reaches out and tags the hands of any fans showing him support along the edges of the ramp.

Hey, hey
Hell is what you make, make
Rise against your fate, fate
Nothing's gonna keep you down
Even if it's killing you
Because you know the truth

Stopping in front of the ring, he looks up at the eight-sided structure and visibly takes a deep breath in before blowing it back out and sliding underneath the bottom rope.

Listen up, listen up
There's a devil in the church
Got a bullet in the chamber and
This is gonna hurt
Let it out, let it out
You can scream and you can shout
Keep your secrets in the shadows and
You'll be sorry

Again, he bounces on his toes, twisting his hips in a warm-up and then stops and raises his arms into the air, met with a cheer from the crowd.

Everybody's getting numb
Everybody's on the run
Listen up, listen up
There's a devil in the church
Got a bullet in the chamber and
This is gonna hurt

He crouches slightly with his hands on his knees, waiting for the start of the match as his music fades out.

Singles Match
Kai O'Hara vs. Tyrone Rexx

The match got off to a reasonably slow start, with neither rookie wanting to make a mistake and give the other an advantage. After circling each other, the two tied up in the center of the ring with Rexx getting the upper hand and switching around to grab O'Hara in a waistlock. He attempted a German suplex but Kai stayed grounded and fought his way out with several elbows to Tyrone's head. He spun around, continuing his assault with strikes and hitting a combination of punches and kicks until he had Rexx backed up against the ropes.

Kai shot Rexx across the ring and caught him with a dropkick as he came back. He covered but barely got a two-count before Rexx kicked out. Kai went to bring him back up to his feet but Tyrone fought him off with several hard shots to the gut before taking him down with a Russian legsweep.

The action continued to switch back and forth, with both wrestlers hitting a number of suplexes and various other takedowns, with Rexx almost getting the win after a solid spinebuster, but O'Hara managed to kick out just in time.

The match ended when Kai put Rexx down with a lungblower and ascended to the top rope to hit a corkscrew moonsault for the three count.

:Mick Crellin:
Impressive showing from Kai O'Hara! I guess his win over Troy Gafgen last week really boosted his confidence.

:Stevie Howard:
Well, I'll be damned. The kid can actually do shit!

We go backstage, where Becky is standing with Amy Ngoudje, who has a baggy vintage Cannonball Kayama T-shirt on over her ring gear.

:Becky Benitez:
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Amy Ngoudje, who later tonight takes on A.J. Cleary to determine a number one contender to Erin Daniels' Reborn Championship. Amy, congratulations on being in the match!

:Amy Ngoudje:
Thanks, Becky. I'm still surprised I'm in it, but I came here to be challenged, and there's no doubt that both A.J. and Erin are big challenges.

:Becky Benitez:
Amy, this match tonight is going to have an added dimension, as I understand that A.J. is uncomfortable with the idea of fighting women.

:Amy Ngoudje:
Well... so it seems. Even that little cockroach Leanne Fontaine, after she attacked him and screwed him over for weeks, he wouldn't hit her.

Becky nods.

:Becky Benitez:
How do you feel about the idea that he might not be willing to fight you?

Amy sighs and takes a moment before answering.

:Amy Ngoudje:
I know A.J. is from a very different background to me. I think, if he's unwilling to fight me because I'm a woman, I can respect his decision even if I don't agree with it, and I hope the Reborn fans will respect it too.

:Becky Benitez:
There are rumours that A.J. has been considering throwing this match and offering you the victory, Amy.

Amy bites her lip uncomfortably.

:Amy Ngoudje:
I... couldn't do that, Becky. If A.J. doesn't want to fight me, I can't accept title contendership by forfeit... it wouldn't be right. I have to earn it. If A.J. wants a grappling battle with me, with no strikes, then I'm happy to do that.

:Becky Benitez:
Well, I guess we'll find out later tonight what the situation is. Now back to the action.

The lights go down as "Crying Like A Bitch" begins to play. The crowd starts to cheer as Troy Gafgen makes his way out from behind the curtain. He raises both arms into the air and yells "It's GO TIME!" as he gazes out into the crowd.

"Strut on by like a king. Telling everybody they know nothing. And long live what you thought you were. And time ain’t on your side anymore."

Troy begins to walk down the ramp as he slaps some of the fans hands. He then turns to face the ring and he stops. He gives himself a couple of slaps to the head and chest before running and sliding right into the ring.

"And so you tell me, I can't take my chances. But I told you one too many times and you were crying like a bitch! And you wonder why, no one can stand you. And there’s no denying you were crying like a bitch... you were crying like a bitch!"

Troy stands in the middle of the ring and soaks up the applause from the crowd. He walks over to the turnbuckle and tosses his arms up in the air, before hopping down off the turnbuckle and smirks.

The lights dimmed slight seconds before "I Am Hell" by Machine Head screamed through the arena's sound system. Christian Cain came out from behind the curtain still in his street clothes with an calm look but eyed the crowd suspicously while he made his way down to the ring. Taking a look at the perimeter of the ring and the inside, Cain cracked his knuckles to get ready for the fight ahead before getting in.

Singles Match
Troy Gafgen vs. Christian Cain

The match was anything but what could be called anywhere close to wrestling. It was more of just an all out fight. No irish whips, no body slams. Most of the action consisted solely of punches from both men. It was after a couple minutes of the fight that looked to belong in a bar instead of a ring, Melissa Michaels came out to ringside carrying a black duffle bag.

:Mick Crellin:
Do you think it's really a good idea for her to be out her in her uhh... condition, Xavier? I mean, she is what? Six months pregnant now?

:Xavier Micheals:
She does what she wants. She's got good reason for this though.

:Stevie Howard:
I'm wondering more of what's in the bag.

After a minute or so, Melissa opens the bag and pulled out an aluminum baseball bat when she saw the chase to slide it into the ring to Cain. He picked it up and slammed it into Troy's ribs before he had a chance to react. The shot did not immediately get him down so Cain followed it up with another before finally collapsing. Seeing the use of the weapon, the referee immediately called for the bell.

:Stevie Howard:
Holy shit! That has this has to be the worst ass kicking I've ever seen Troy get!

:Mick Crellin:
I had a feeling you and her were behind this, Xavier. But really, why him?

:Xavier Michaels:
You know, Mick, I think it's time you and everyone else found that out.

Xavier left the commentators' table to meet Melissa who was then on the ring apron and held down the middle rope to assist her to get in. Inside, Cain was busy kicking hard kicks at Troy's ribs when Xavier moved in to get a couple shots of his own while Melissa took a microphone from someone at ringside. She knelt down to look Troy in the face while Xavier and Cain held him down on his knees with a grip on both arms after a couple coughs of blood on the mat.

:Melissa Michaels:
That isn't happiness to see me is it, Troy? It shouldn't be. Just like I wasn't too happy after the last show here when you threw a little temper tantrum like a five year old after you lost your title match. Or last week when you lost to that kid Kai. Let this be a lesson to you, and everyone else, Troy. You seriously fucked with the wrong people. Now, instead of just putting you down like the rabid dog that you are, you can still serve your purpose. Just remember, future lessons can be avoided as long as you're a good little boy and learn to play ball just like everyone else.

To even add insult to injury, Melissa slapped Troy across the face while he was being held by Cain and Xavier. Xavier picked up the bat from the mat while Cain held the ropes for Melissa and followed her to the back to leave the medical techs to get into the ring to tend to Troy.

A video package airs, in which we cut to Tony Harrison sat by his fireplace, in his familiar fancy chair.

:Tony Harrison:
Good evening, Reborn. I'm sorry I can't be with you in person tonight - I'm too busy doing manly things like fixing the transmission on one of my many luxury cars, and rearranging my hunting trophies - but I am, as ever, with you in spirit.

He nods sagely.

:Tony Harrison:
Did you enjoy watching Kai O'Hara and Tyrone Rexx fight tonight? Of course you didn't, because they're both stupid tarts. Their sloppy seconds-fest this evening just made you even more painfully aware of the void that consumes your soul during every second you're not seeing Tony Harrison crunch up a scrub.

He reaches out as if trying to save a friend from jumping off a cliff.

:Tony Harrison:
But don't worry! Calm your pretty little head! On the very next Resurgence I will return to you, and give unto you the simple joy of watching me kick some kid's head in. Until then, please try to handle your mundane lives as best you can. Farewell, friends.

And we cut back to ringside.

Seemingly without any warning, the lights in the arena all drop down to black. The crowd can be heard, making a ruckus in the background.

:Mick Crellin:
I apologize ladies and gentlemen. To be honest we aren't really sure what exactly is going on at the moment.

:Stevie Howard:
I hate when lights go out in wrestling arenas. It's never a good thing. Someone's gonna be hanging above the ring. Crucified or some such deal. And to be honest, I've had well enough of that shit.

:Mick Crellin:
I doubt it's anything that severe, Stevie.

The lights stay dim for a couple of minutes before they switch back on suddenly. No one hangs above the ring crucified. But sitting atop one of the turnbuckles is a masked figure. Long, blood red tendrils hang from the top of the black mask, and he stares out at the crowd silently. His gaze twists and a smirk comes across his face.

:Stevie Howard:
Oh god. Not this guy.

:Mick Crellin:
What seems more peculiar about this is that this is just Noumenon. We see no Cerberus. No Jokers Wild. No Kail, Raine, Guerra or Fontaine. But the leader of the vile Asylum, alone in the middle of the ring.

:Stevie Howard:
And yet he still manages to be creepy as fuck.

Noumenon raises the mic he has clasped in his hand to his lips, and gets a boo in response. This only serves to deepen the Aslyum masterminds grin.

:Noumenon:
It's been a long time, hasn't it.

A barrage of boos hit Noumenon again.

:Noumenon:
In that small span of time. Nothing has really changed. While people claim the blood of the GEW runs in this place. I still see nothing of what used to be. The blood is still stained. And in the end, it makes me weep. When the old beast inevitably died, as I had warned that it would. I believed my crusade had left an impact. That you had seen what it had truly been about. Now I see that I was wrong. That the ways that had begun there are going to continue here. But, this time you will have no saviors. I am done saving you. Done doing all that I can to pull this decaying carcass from the brink of the nether. Done trying to be a harbinger of change. And when all is revealed, you'll beg me to return to the light. Beg me to be what I once was.

Noumenon smirks and lowers the mic. The crowd boo him again, neglecting whatever message he is trying to send. He taps the side of his head, signaling them to really think about it.

:Noumenon:
You'll beg me to resist once more. But I'll look down at you, and whisper one word. No.

Noumenon's face returns to a blank slate and the lights die down again. They lift a moment later, and the masked man is gone just as he had appeared.

:Mick Crellin:
I'm not exactly sure what he's talking about. But if dealing with Noumenon has told us anything. It can't be good.

:Stevie Howard:
Dude is a flat out psycho. The only question with, is why isn't he in a real Asylum?

I can promise you that if you're not prepared to have a happening...
MOVE BACK!

A cheer goes up as The Avalanches' "With My Baby" hits the speakers and Amy Ngoudje bursts through the curtain. She crosses back and forth as she makes her way to the ring, interacting with the fans, high-fiving and shaking hands.

Amy climbs onto the apron and steps through the ropes, then hops up each corner in turn, taking a moment to pose and lead the fans in a pop. Once the circuit is done, she hunkers into her corner, psyching up for the coming match.

A.J. appears on stage as the music begins. He scans the crowd briefly, then walks deliberately toward the ring. Reaching ringside he climbs the steps quickly, walks down the apron, one hand on the top rope. He gets to the middle of the apron and wipes his feet, the enters between the second and top rope. He walks to the center of the ring and looks out over the crowd with a look of determination. He raises one fist in the air, then retreats to his corner to await the start of the match.

Singles Match
Reborn Championship #1 Contendership
A.J. Cleary vs. Amy Ngoudje

The match got off to a slow start, with neither competitor really knowing what to do. It had been made clear that A.J. would not strike a woman, and Amy had made it equally as clear that she wasn't going to take advantage of that fact. Eventually, the two locked up in the middle of the ring and began to exchange holds.

Amy got A.J. in a waistlock from behind, but he fought out of it and transitioned into a waistlock of his own. The switching of holds continued, along with several variations of takedowns into grounded holds until both competitors jumped back to their feet to a huge roar from the crowd.

After taking A.J. down on his front and holding for a while, Amy manoeuvred around and was eventually able to pull Cleary into a cloverleaf. He held on for as long as he could until she applied more pressure, forcing him into submission.

:Mick Crellin:
Well that was a refreshing change... Two competitors actually wrestling, showing respect and not trying to kill one another!

:Stevie Howard:
Eh, that was boring. Can we never have a match like that again, please?

The feed cuts into the backstage area where Troy Gafgen is shown holding a microphone. He has his ribs taped from the beating he took earlier.

:Troy Gafgen:
You know, I was almost sure when I was going out there tonight that it was a set up. I was positive that Kameron and Erin set this little match up. I was half right. Xavier, Melissa, you've both messed with the wrong guy. I know you guys like to think that you can intimidate anyone and everyone but that shit isn't going to fly with me. You want to beat me down, fine. As you can see, I'm still standing. I'm not going to conform to what you think I should. I am one man who plays by my own rules, not yours!

Troy grunts as he places a hand onto his ribs.

:Troy Gafgen:
Back to my real problem. It seems that now it's myself versus Kameron, Erin, and The Michaels clan...alright then. I'm not going to stop until I destroy everything in my path, so I hope y'all ready because there's gonna be a war!

Troy smirks as the feed cuts back to the action.

"Surrender" by In This Moment begins playing, arena lighting changing to a slight blue with it just before Erin Daniels pushing aside the curtain at the entrance to come out. Brown hair tied back into a ponytail, Daniels makes her way towards the ring in her attire of black tank top and pants, a blue stripe going down the side of each leg. At ringside, she reaches up to grab the middle rope, using it to springboard herself up, black knee-high boots finding their hold on the apron easily before slipping in between the top and middle rope.

Tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika tika

DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!

DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!

DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUN! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!

A tiger's roar crackles through the speakers, and out comes Tommy 'Tiger' White through the curtain. He spins around quickly, hands in the air, his back to the ring, as the camera zooms in on the large black tiger paw on the back of his white robe.

Risin’ up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I’m back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

White swings around, all smiles, ready to get to work. He makes his way to the ring, singing along to his theme music and slapping hands with fans. He makes his way to the ring and over to the steps.

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don’t lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

White climbs the steps and walks across the apron, playing to the crowd. He wipes his boots at the corner and steps into the ring and immediately to the middle rope.

It’s the, eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all with the Eyeeee

Of the Tiger!

Singles Match
Erin Daniels vs. "Tiger" Tommy White

The match started of with both opponents evenly match. Daniels speed and explosiveness tempered by White's technical skills and knowledge, he gradually wore the champion down with dipping down into his reserves of stamina. It was not often where White was able to use much in the power moves on RW's talent but Daniels lighter weight as he almost doubled hers allowed for more of a wider variety in what he could do. At one point, Daniels tried a roundhouse kick but White ducked under in and grabbed her from behind when she came down. He easily lifted her up and back with a German suplex while bridging it afterward for a pin but she kicked out at one.

White had obviously done his homework on Daniels, but she was also learning how he worked during the match. After a couple minutes, Daniels stopped making mistakes that White was anticipating. Instead of using her quickness to strike quickly at White, she used her flexibility to bend and slip out of whatever manuever he tried. One side moment had her slip behind him to at the back of knee to send him down kneeling and did not hesitate with the sharp kick to his face. She immediately went for the pinfall but White kicked out at two.

They went back and forth with momentum as so. At one point, White grabbed at one of Daniels' arms and was reaching around for the Tiger Lock. Almost frantic in her movements, she broke free and spun around to grab his head with both hands before jumping back and down to slam his face into his knees when she came down with Into Dust. She rolled him over the pin and the resulting three.

On her knees for a moment, Daniels pushed a bit of her hair away before getting up and handed the Reborn title. Seeing the Phoenix title belt in the referee's other hand, she saw White flat on his back shaking off the last bits of the shock from the last move. She extended a hand down to him, offering to help him up, and he took it. The referee gave White his title belt, he and Daniels sharing a look for a moment before a slight nod from each.

:Mick Crellin:
There's got to be a certain amount of respect from these two. Safe to say White has been the toughest challenge for the champion to date.
